Cheriton Road - Folkestone Invicta
Ah my beloved Cheriton Road. I first saw this ground when I was a wee nipper of about 11 years or so. It was July so the grass was taller than me if I remember correctly. My dad, with all the manic glare of an enthusiast assured me it was lovely looking during the season and I gave him a quizzical look. Now I understand what he means. It is lovely.
I probably live too close to it to say anything different, and Nicky Dent's 6 minute brace there at the start of the season couldn't possibly have influenced my thoughts could it? Of course it could!
