Spytty Park - Newport County
As with many of the former League clubs who fell from grace and are trying to make it back, Newport County are struggling somewhat in their attempts to return. It feels wrong to make cheap jibes at their ground, as the relatively short history of the new Newport club is a credit to the work going on behind the scenes. True its another of these annoying football grounds that have been adapted from athletics stadiums, but I'm just happy to see the club functioning at all.
They did of course share with Gloucester City for a while and judging by their average crowds nobody seems to know that the club is back in the area. Mind you they did when they played Blackpool in the F.A Cup. Nothing like commitment eh.
