The Lamb - Tamworth
Another of these grounds which flatters to deceive because of the view of the back of the main stand as you enter. You look forward to going in and seeing it, take one look on entering and think 'Oh…right'. The main stand is certainly nice, and the uncovered terracing at one of the ends is decent enough, but the covered terracing is a bit too shallow and as for The Shed, only enter if you're brave enough, or indeed stupid enough. This is where any troublemakers tend to lurk, and so if you want to avoid being verbally abused as you change ends, don't walk past it if you're winning. In fact, don't walk past it at all.
I'll have fond memories of the place however, not withstanding what I've put here. In fact I'll have fond memories of Tamworth. We beat them and Margate didn't, what more could you want?!
