London Ice Dogs trade Tony Amonte and Mike Eastwood to the Wisconsin Blizzard for Mike York, Martin Lapointe, their first round pick and their second round pick aquired from Huntsville in the 2001 draft

London Ice Dogs trade Jeff Shantz and Kelly Buchberger to South Hampton Bottomfeeders for Martin Skoula and their second round draft pick in the 2001 draft
June 1st
Gary Scott takes over the New Jersey Swamp Rats and move them to Madison Wisconsin and are now the Wisconsin Blizzard. Jim Atkins takes over the Huntsville Channelcats and moves them to Charleston North Carolina and are now the Charleston Channelcats. Don Powell moves the Charlotte Blackhawks to Nanaimo and become the Namaimo Clippers
