FLORIDA CONQUEST Game Conventions
The poorest excuse for a game convention.
OUR ADVICE: "Don't even waste your time or money on any of their events!"
They are plagued with low to no attendance, few game dealers, and problems fullfiling contracts with the hotels that they use.
The last time they were in Tampa, they cancelled the convention on the Friday it was supposed to begin.
GENCON Game Convention
The largest and oldest (I think) gaming convention in the country! If you only go to one, GENCON is it!
Held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin every August.
HURRICON Game Convention
Miniatures game convention held in late September in Tampa, FL, by HMGS-South.
If you like Historical Miniatures, this is the place to be!
JONESCON Game Convention
A good "gaming-only" convention held each January in Gainesville, FL. with Miniatures, RPG's, Board games, and CCG's.
Only positive comments since they've moved to a bigger location in a Hotel.
MEGACON Game Convention
Comic, Sci-Fi, Anime and Gaming Convention held each late February in Orlando, FL.
