Resident Evil Code Veronica X Resident Evil Code Veronica X is the 5th game that Capcom has released for the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil Code Veronica X was for dream cast and it still is but it is called just plain Resident Evil Code Veronica. The X in the ps2 version means "EXTRA", they showed more stuff like Wesker beating up Claire and so on. Every second Resident Evil game you are either Claire or Jill (RE1 Jill or Chris, RE2 Claire or Leon, RE3 Jill, RECVX Claire, Steve and Chris) survior doesn't count because it doesn't go with the story. This RECVX stars Claire Redfield. Just like in Resident Evil 2 she is looking for her long lost brother Chris Redfield. She is captured by the people because she was truspassing. She then ended up in a small prison in Europe, then she was released by a guard and let free. Why did they let her go? It is because that there was a freak accident avolving zombies and Umbrella. There she finds herself on a island with like the whole population is dead or the living dead. She incounters a boy named Steve. Steve has a few problems with his family in the game. on Europe you ecounter many new species of zombies. example Bandersnatch, Bandersnatch is a moster that has one huge arm that can attack you from distance. Bandernatch is really powerful and can kill you with about 3-5 swings. Like all the games this game has many puzzles you must answer, some of them are quite though. Review Resident Evil is a really spooky and challenging game, and also the story continues on following the same story line. The Resident Evil series is one of my favorite series so I really like this game. I like all the other Resident Evil's but this one was amazing! Story It takes place in a small island in Europe, it all starts when Claire is searching for her lost brother Chris. She ends up in alot of trouble and is captured. Claire is let free because a freak accident on the island. The accident evloves the T-Virus and th G-Virus. Claire finds another survior named Steve and both are trying to find a way out but you are not together. Both look for a way out and a special guest from Resident Evil 1 makes a apperances. Albert Wesker. The evil leader of STARS is back and he is more evil as before. You have noticed that in Resident Evil 1 he died, it is because that Wesker had enjected the T-Virus to put him a death situation and when he dies he will gain super human powers. Resident Evil Code Veronica X you are able to play with 3 characters. Claire, Chris and Steve. Overall i give the story a 10/10. it follow the other Resident Evil's and you still are looking for your brother. Story:10 Graphics Resident Evil CVX had amazing graphics much better then Re2 and 3 and of course Re1. The characters had much smoother graphics, they had amazing cinema's and movies and awsome zombie texture. The only thing I didn't find that good is that in the beginning movie, Claire's face was a bit (huge) diffrent face, her face was much skinnier, and personaly I didn't like it but it was all fine throughout the game, I just didn't like the beginning Claire. I really like all of Capcom's graphics and stories like Onimusha Warlords, Devil May Cry, the Resident Evil series, etc. I give the graphics a 9.5/10 because it lost a half for the beginnig Claire. Graphics:9.5 Sound/Music Resident Evil CVX has one of the spookiest sound other then Silent Hill. The musix will spook you even more when you know you are in trouble. The sound almost sounds like real life (except for zombies when we don't know what they sound like). The gun shot are just like real life and the the sound changes when you are in trouble. The sound is so freaky I love it. I like anything that will spook me out of my shoes. The sound is so amazing that I liked it enough that I give it a 10/10. Sound/Music:10 Gameplay You read above this that I loved this game and part of this is that it has gameplay. The gameplay and controls are confusing at first unless you have played the first 3 and you are use to it. In the game the gameplay is so interesting you have hold R1 and press square to fire and also it is neat that you are able at one point you change to a diffrent character. Also it is neat how that on you menu your health has a heart meter and you are able to find journals and notes troughout the game (even though that it was in all the other ones). The gameplay is the most important part of the game without it the game wouldn't be a game and there would be no story with no controls. But the gameplay i would give a 9/10 because you have to know how to do this in the 1-3 games and if you are a newbie at this (not me) you would be confused and couldn't control it. It would take about 30 mins to memorize and get the hang of it. Gameplay:9 Overall In the final 10 for story + 9.5 for graphics + 10 for sound and music + 9 for Gameplay. In overall I rate this a 9.325/10. Overall:9.125/10
