Resistance HQ: ???
---

Mupod Negnirt still sits in the desk, even though a storm roars overhead and the power is about to go out. The lights dim with every word spoken over the communicator. "So, about what time will you be here?"

~~~
"We've just crossed the border. We had to make a pit stop at vets, but we're still low on fuel."
~~~

"Once you get here, you can fill up."

~~~
"Sure. Heh. What if we encounter any resistance?"
~~~

"Was that a pun or a serious question?"

~~~
"What do we do if someone attacks us?"
~~~

"What are you here for? Shoot 'em down no matter what."

Mupod hears an explosion from the communicator right before he shuts it off. "That sounded pretty realistic," he says, "for a low-tech communicator like this."

Suddenly, the floor shakes. Stacks of paper fall to the floor. Mupod stands up, and tries to turn the camera monitors back on. Nothing. He shrugs and sits down. An eerie silence comes upon the area. A giant dark explosion of energy takes out half of the ceiling, which was also the roof. Mupod is thrown against the wall, and struggles to get up as the roof caves in around the door, blocking his exit. He struggles to get up, but slips in the pouring rain. He runs toward the communicator, but the signal is gone. "There's only one thing that one can do in this situation... Warcraft III."

Mupod takes out his dry laptop and goes to sit in a corner of the room, one of the only spots still covered by the roof. He plays for a while, until he hears some shaking above him. He looks up, and a piece of the roof starts to fall on top of him. He dives out of the way, but the laptop is crushed. Mupod is trapped.

---
Antioch: Center Square
---

"Well," says Griff17. "I think it's time to head back."

"What about the buildings?" asks The Cynical Rust. "We can't just leave this place as a ghost town. This could be a haven for idiot newbies on an FBD."

"We can send some troops over once we get back to the HQ, we just gotta make sure that we got everyone inside the city."

"Griff, it's been two days since we've seen anyone. If there is anyone else here, we're not going to see them anyway..."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

As Griff and The Cynical Rust walk toward the gate, they hear a deafening whoosh. Griff looks into the sky. "My god, whose planes are those? No one in here or RP/FF has an air force like that!"

The planes circle around Antioch for a second, then drop something onto the Antioch Dept. building, the biggest and most noticeable building in town. The whole building and surrounding buildings are incinerated in a massive explosion that throws shrapnel to even where Griff and Rust are standing. Griff picks up a piece from the building. "Wow, the metal is still hot... Who here has access to those kind of bombs?"

More planes join the ones already flying, and make a giant straight line, almost the total width of Antioch. They start on the other side of the city, but slowly move their way over towards the gate, dropping bombs at intervals and completely demolishing the city. Griff and Rust run for the gate, but even after they make it through the gate, the explosion still reaches them and throws them into the air. Griff jumps back up, but with massive burns on his back. Rust never gets up. Griff bandages his wounds and runs toward the Resistance HQ, a great distance away.

The Farming Village of Talo
---

shiny shibby and Arbalest walk around Talo. shiny shibby kicks a rock. "Why do we have to be in this farming village? This is so boring!"

Arbalest replies, "Keeping the peace, or something. I guess Shadow says that there might be a backlash from the attack; we are near the Resistance border."

"But we're near the Sin Border too, and isn't the resistance attacking Sin, and not us?"

"Yeah..."

"So what are we then, elite security guards?"

"Yeah, but we get Grog. That stuff's pricey if you're importing."

"I just hope we leave soon..."

The two soldiers hear a rumbling in the distance. They turn around, and see military airships flying towards them. Arbalest screams, "The United States Air Force?! That shouldn't even EXIST here!"

The planes drop bombs upon the city and burn the fields to the ground before speeding away toward Asgard. shiny shibby goes to evacuate the people from the inferno, and Arbalest runs back into the city to get the communicator from the Town Hall building. "I'm surprised this old building still stands..." he says as he crashes through the burning wooden door.

He searches through his bag and turns on the communicator, screaming, "Shadow! The U.S. Air Force are flying towards Asgard! They've already taken down Talo and everywhere around it!"

~~~
"What?"
~~~

"The United States Air Force! They've bombed Talo and the rest of the villages, and the fields are burnt down to the ground. THEY'RE HEADING TOWARDS ASGARD!"

~~~
"The U.S. Air Force? Should they even exist in this world?"
~~~

"Yeah, it's weird. I gotta go!"

Arbalest shouts those words as the back end of the old stone building collapses. Arbalest runs out of the building right as it collapses, throwing all kinds of dust into the air with the smoke from the fires. Arbalest runs back out to where everyone else is, and is greeted by shiny shibby. "What do we do now."

"We sit, and wait..."

---
Somewhere in an Airship
---

The co-pilot takes his communicator and turns it on. "Mupod? Are you there? Mupod? Mupod, where are you?"

He gets no signal, and slams the communicator on the floor. "Ah, I get it now. This is just another one of those sick practical jokes, harassing me to no end. I finally come back, and this is worse than before..."

He yells over to the pilot, "After we take this next city, we're changing directions. We're taking this whole place down."

He takes out a different communicator, and says, "Hey. It seems that our mission has changed, and we've got a new objective. Can I have 694 more planes?"

~~~
"What are you doing? Obliterating a continent? Where are you, anyway?"
~~~

"Have you ever been to this LTU place? It's like a terrorist breeding ground!"

~~~
"Fine, but don't expect 694 good planes."
~~~

"That's all I need," he says as he turns off the communicator.

The pilot says to him, "What are you going to do with 700 planes?"

"701, to be exact. You won't get it, heh heh heh."
