BACKGROUND

From the Philippines comes this huge Staunton style set made of striking native woods. The kings measure 7 1/2 inches tall. All the chessmen have a base diameter of 2 1/4 inches. It is an imposing set featuring heavy wide bases with leaded weights added for extra stability.
