The Incredibles is the story of Bob Parr(Craig T. Nelson) a superhero called Mr. Incredible. Mr. Incredible married his wife Helen Parr/Elastigirl(Holly Hunter) when superheroes were in their prime. After an attempt to stop the supervillian Bomb Voyage (Dominique Louis) was botched by Mr. Incredibles wannabe sidekick Buddy Pine (Jason Lee), people began suing superheroes for the damages they made while saving them. So Mr. Incredible and his super buddies like Lucius Best/Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) had to go underground.

Years later Mr. Incredible has a family with his kids, Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Spencer Fox) and Jack? who all have super powers as well. Dash can run at super speeds and Violet can create force fields and turn invisible. Mr. Incredible's new job is working at a corrupt insurance company. He sneaks out to save people with his buddy frozone, but has to do so in disguise, until one day he was contact by Mirage (Elizabeth Peņa) a mysterious lady, with a proposition. Mr. Incredible is sent on various undercover missions for Mirage and her boss.

Mrs. Incredible begans growing suspicious of Mr. Incredible. She goes to designer Edna 'E' Mode (Brad Bird) when she sees a new rip in Mr. Incredibles super suit. Once their she finds out Mr. Incredible is lost and in need of help on a tropical island. She calls in some favours to get a jet and heads off to save her husband. She told her kids to stay home, but they stowed away aboard her ship anyways. The family works together and saves Mr. Incredible. They then work together as a team with their friend Frozone to stop the new super villian Syndrome (Jason Lee).

This movie was amazing. I was really surpised with the quality of the animation. The story was very well written, filled with plenty of comedy and action. The plot was very fast moving and there was never a dull moment. The animation is so good at some points you almost forget you are watching animation at all. With an all star cast the voice acting also is exceptional. The movie has some hilarious parts like when elastigirl is stuck in the doors and Mr. Incredible destorys things by accident.

I would recommend this movie to anyone. There is something in this movie that appeals to all ages, it is a great family film. I think this is the best Pixar film to date and thats why I feel confident in giving it the best animated movie of 2004 award.
