Johnny English

Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) is the main character in the spy parody of the same name. His faithful side kick who does the real work is called Bough (Ben Miller). The villian in the movie Pascal Sauvage (John Malkovich) and his goons along with Lorna Campbell (Natalie Imbruglia) blackmail the Queen into abdicating the throne. Sauvage then makes himself King. It is up to English to foil his evil plot and save England from becoming a giant prison island!

This movie was a pretty funny comedy. Kind of a rip-off of the Pink Panther series, but still pretty good. The gadgets and special effects are quite good. The website also has entertaining games/media. (Click the link in the index to go to the website) The acting for the most part is good, except John Malkovich's fake french accent. I wasn't sure if it was intentionally that bad or not? There were some pretty funny chase scenes, and who can't laugh at the things Mr. Bean thinks up. Some of his utterly stupid remarks are quite funny. My favourite part is the chase ending with the funeral scene. Over all not a bad movie, a kind of stupid spy comedy. If you liked Pink Panther, you will probably like this.
