The Usual Suspects - Movie Review
The Usual Suspects
The Usual Suspects is about a group of criminals that all get brought to jail to do a line up for the cops, when some trucks got hijacked. The group include the famous Dean Keaton (Gabriel Byrne) who had gotten out of the life, Michael McManus(Stephen Baldwin) the crazy conman along with his partner Fred Fenster(Benicio Del Toro) who could barely understand himself, and a hardcore, toughguy conman Todd Hockney(Kevin Pollack) and finally a golden tongued cripple aptly named Roger "Verbal" Kint (Kevin Spacey).
After they get interrogated seperately we learn that they had all been working for a mysterious crime lord named Keyser Soze. The last part of the movie is told by Verbal as he is getting interrogated. He revealed about how the criminals had gotten together to pull a job and wound up even more entagled with the mysterious crime lord. The movie ends with a giganitc climax/shootout on a boat. It is up to you to find out if Soze is stopped and if the criminals are succesful.
This is a very good movie, besides the great action, acting and filmography the plot is very good, it keeps your mind thinking all the time. There are some great lines in this movie, my favourites are "Keyer Soze!!!" and when McManus says, "Give me the motherf****n keys c**ksu**a!!". Those lines are great for quoting or yelling early in the morning out of a 8th story window.
