This was our first game of "The Sword and the Flame" (3rd edition) rules used for the Zulu War and there were some difficulties, the British forgot call visibility and my single die per shooter idea caused the British to inflict almost no casualties with shooting, until after they had been defeated in all but fact, it actually saw the Zulu inflicting more casualties with spear throwing and rifle fire.
The figures used are ESCI's 1/72nd scale (20mm) plastics with some conversions.

The first areas of brush cleared, the right Horn closes on the British left, the cavalry remnants move forward to scout the back side of the ridge.
