Wild west action in the fictional town of Shinbone, New Mexico.
The first playing of Two Hour Wargames update to their Wild west rules "Six Gun Sound; Blaze of glory".
Played in 28mm all the townsfolk are foundry figures, the Banditos are from Monday Knight Productions, all terrain scratch built.
Two banditos started out front of the Bank, while two more are inside helping themselves to loot. The Sheriff started in his office and two townsfolk are in Herman's feed and seed, one in the Post office next to the bank, one in the Shinbone Gazette across from the bank, one in an outhouse behind the bank. Other potential townsfolk decided t'werent none of their bidness and skedaddled.
Two Banditos exit the bank via the side door and Ned Burgess, a visiting Texas Ranger spots them and opens fire and misses, El Boomba returns fire, hitting Ned in the chest, killing him.
Jonathan Brown (man in the outhouse, which has been removed in this photo) exits the outhouse and takes two shots with his pistol, and misses The Bandito retuns fire Hitting him in the chest, Jonathan crawls behind the out house.
There he is now (outhouse has been replaced)
The Sheriff lays in a pool of his own blood, shot down as he exited his office.
With three townsfolk Obviously Dead or Out of the Fight, one hiding behind the out house with a sucking chest wound, one at home changing his briches after running away, and the last Townie armed with a Muzzle loading rifle the towns folk decide to let the Banditos go, as they can deal with the Bandito they left for dead.
