It is 1799 in Northern Italy and Suvarov's 50,000 Russians and Austrians have a chance to smack the French silly at the Battle of Novi. Rules used are Peter Kingsman's own Masse' de Rupture.

Turn 6, The Russian component of the Coalition still in its start position, they were quite unable to change their orders
The Austrians seeing the complete inability of the Russians to move decide they will capture Novi, They fail but drive of the blocking French.
Thanks to the Austrian intervention the Russians decide they can now move to attack Novi, he French Corps commander wonders where his soldiers have gotten to.
The remnants of the Austrians try to regroup hoping the French will not come down off the hill to disperse them.
On the Left the Austrians are dealing with the French that were there.
The remnants of the Novi Blocking force cower behind Novi, Cavalry to their rear hold the Austrian advance from completely encircling the remnants of the French Right flank. Swiss infantry units Prepare to move to the relief of Novi.
The Swiss units (against the vehement wishes of its commander) launch a relief attempt of Novi and are all but destroyed in an hour's fighting. 2/3rds of the Russian divisions are yet to move from their start positions
The Fall of Novi the other 2 Russian divisions finally move and mop up around Novi.
The Battle turned out to be A French victory as they had not been driven from the table, due in Large part of the Russian inability to change their orders
