This was a trial of the "Sword and the Flame" rules I bought several years ago and some ESCI 1/72nd scale Zulus and British I got even longer ago.
Situation: A company of Redcoats is sent to bring a family to safety,
They get to the farmhouse and find it in ruins, so why are they forming square.
Oh, That's why.
They fire a volley into the chest of the Zulu formation.
The Horns close on the line and another volley crashes out.
The outnumbered Britons are no match for the Zulus in melee though, they lose 5 dead and 4 wounded are left to the mercy of the Zulus.
