Part Three: Revelations of Evil

Chapter Two

The screams of the enemy and the carnage caused by the kaiju forced Dragitron to yell at the top of his lungs.  "GWB and G64, head to the science facility!  Fudge and Fury, stay behind and take out those bunkers!  I'm heading toward the main base.  It's time I finished Fong once and for all!"  In seconds he ran ahead of his team into the war zone.

"Is he gonna be okay?" Fudge asked.  Suddenly Black16 materialized behind him.  "I will make sure Drag is all right."  He hovered off into Drag's direction.  GWB and G64 reloaded their guns.  They wished Fury and Fudge good luck, and ran off to the left.

Fury looked upset.  "Do you really think we're all gonna make it out of this mission in one piece?" 

Fudge smiled.  "Yeah, Fury.  I do."  He held his broadsword tightly with both hands and ran screaming towards the enemy.  Fury followed suit.

Meanwhile, the kaiju were having a field day.  Aqua Mothra pelted the barracks with energy beams.  Space Godzilla used his telekinesis to levitate entire troops of men into his mouth.  Gigan enjoyed chasing a squadron of jets around the base.  Fire Rodan created huge winds to send the military might of Sony across the battleground.

Only Meltdown Godzilla did not feel up to the task.  His body was glowing oddly, and he seemed to be extremely drowsy.  A tank battalion began firing at him in this state, and Godzilla went crashing onto the ground.  Something was definitely wrong, and Fury knew it.  He ran to his kaiju's side.

"Godzilla!  What's wrong?  Are you hurt?"  His kaiju stared into Fury's eyes.  Tears were welling up in Godzilla's gigantic eyes.  Fury understood Godzilla's plight.  Suddenly without warning the tanks fired again, causing Godzilla to roar in agony.

Fury had had enough.  Balling his fists, Fury began channeling energy to his hands.  They appeared to be on fire.  With a loud scream, Fury blasted the entire battalion to kingdom come.  When the smoke cleared, Fury had already begun to cry.  Then he realized that he had to do something.

Godzilla was dying.

But if Godzilla died, the radioactive fallout would kill everything!

The building was quiet.

Too quiet.

GWB turned the corner.  A lone sentry guarded the nearest door.  GWB smiled, but before he could shoot, a strange shape jumped the guard and strangled him.  The mysterious stranger looked human, but acted like an animal.  He was wearing a torn-up lab coat.  "Follow me," he said.

GWB and G64 looked at each other.  "Should we trust him?" asked G64.  The stranger called out to them in the darkness.  "If you wish to stop the cloning experiments, you'll need my help."

G64 looked surprised.  "Cloning?"  The stranger answered him.  "Yes.  It is all part of Project Blight.  Follow me, and I will tell you everything."
