The War On Infogrames
Part Three: Revelations of Evil

Chapter Six

Fury and Fudge stood in stunned silence as the roars of the battling kaiju filled the sky.  Suddenly, an explosion rocked the base.  The agents turned to the direction of the smoke and saw three figures approaching their location.

GWB, G64, and Awsome 1 met up with Fudge and Fury moments later.  Both teams told one another what had happened to them.  Afterwards, they all stared at the ensuing carnage.  Voguron was ruthlessly attacking his opponents.  Fire Rodan was down, and Gigan was attempting to bring his partner to his feet.  Space Godzilla confronted his newest foe.

The two kaiju stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity.  Space Godzilla roared and fired a corona beam at Voguron's mouth.  The demon was ready for the blast and opened wide, sucking in the energy.  Its odd head split open, and the eyestalk popped up, glowing with newfound power.  Voguron fired his own corona beam, and the attack bowled Space Godzilla over backwards.  Returning to his feet, Space Godzilla roared another challenge to the ancient beast.  His eyes glowed black, and suddenly the enormous body of Voguron was lifted into the air.  Space Godzilla, using telekinesis to lift Voguron with his mind, began directing Voguron above the main base.

Before he could do anything else, Space Godzilla was caught by surprise when he discovered that he, too, was floating in the air.  G64 stared in wide-eyed disbelief.  "That thing has telekinesis too?"  The two monsters floated in place, waiting to see who would break concentration first.

Drakken continued laughing.  Samrong nodded his head to the kaijunoids, and they slowly made their way toward Black16 and Dragitron.  Drag held his sword with both hands.  Black16's hands glowed with a dark energy.

The kaijunoids attacked.

The one closest to Drag jumped at him.  With one swing, the beast was split down the middle.  A second one made its way behind Drag and was about to pounce.  As Drag turned around, the creature's head simply exploded.  A strange mist-like form rose from the neck as the body slumped to the floor.  Then the mist took the shape of Black16.  "I haven't done that in years," he quipped.  Before Drag could reply, two more kaijunoids circled around him.  He jumped over one and headed for his other sword lying on the floor in the middle of the room.  Just before he reached it, another kaijunoid tackled him from the side.

The beast tried to bite Drag, but he held its jaws open as it inched closer and closer to his face.  Positioning his feet on the monster's chest, Drag flipped the creature behind him and through a window.  Before he could regain his composure, the previous two kaijunoids charged at him.  With lightning speed, Black16 shot himself right through them.  The beasts stopped charging and dropped to the floor.  He opened his hands and each one held a heart.  "May Elohem forgive them for their sins."  His eyes glowed blue as he held the hearts in front of him, and then he incinerated them with a couple of eye beams.

The remaining four charged.  Drag flipped over them and ran for his sword.  He tripped and fell just before reaching it.  As he crawled desperately to it, he could feel its power calling to him.  He inched closer.

And closer.

And closer.

Just as he placed his hand on the sword's handle, a green boot stepped on the blade.  Drag looked up to see the smiling face of Samrong.  His index finger was held out and made a side-to-side motion.  "I don't think so," he said, and promptly kicked Drag in the face.  Drag's body rolled to the side.  He struggled to get up, but Samrong grabbed him by his armor and held him up above his head.  "You're just a kid!  How can you be so powerful?!" Drag struggled to ask as he was gasping for air.

Samrong threw Drag across the room.  His back slammed into a nearby window and cracked it.  Samrong calmly walked over to Drag.  He grabbed the war veteran by his hair and slammed his head through the glass.  Blood was pouring from Drag's forehead.  "I guess I learn quickly," Samrong answered.  "Learning the dark arts is quite useful.  It's too bad you and I weren't cut from the same cloth.  Now I'm going to have to kill you."

Drag smiled.  "You're pretty strong kid, but there's one thing I have that you lack."  Samrong chuckled.  He stared into Drag's eyes.  "What's that, old man?"

Drag smiled again.  "A pair of balls."  His right leg swung up and caught Samrong right in the groin.  The villain doubled over in pain.  In an instant Drag rose to his feet and uppercut Samrong to the floor.  The Captain shook his head to shake out the cobwebs, but it was too late.  Drag was on him, punching away like a wild dog.  Two scaly arms grabbed Drag and pulled him off of Samrong.  The young man got to his feet and wiped the blood from his mouth.  He stared angrily at Drag.  "You're lucky.  Not many of my victims have fallen to this sword."  He pulled back his cape to reveal a black-handled sword in a silver sheath.  With his right hand, he pulled the sword from its holster and held it out in front of him.  Its crystal-clear blade made a whooshing sound as he cut through the air.  "This is the Sword of the Damned.  One touch of its blade will send you to the Abyss, where you will spend an eternity in torture and despair!"

Black16, meanwhile, had just finished off the eighth kaijunoid when he noticed the sword.  "On no!  How did a mere human get a hold of that weapon?"  He called to Drakken.  "Selatoth!  How can he wield the blade of death?!"

Drakken's face morphed into his true self.  "Because Samrong isn't an ordinary human.  He is a crossbreed; one of my first experiments when I came to this planet.  And, more importantly, he is my son!"
