THE THREE KEYS
Part One: The Key of Spirit

Chapter One: Surprise Visit

It was a beautiful morning on Agency Isle.  The state-of-the-art training facility was busy as always.  Outside, GWB was training the younger recruits in the art of self-defense.  Inside, Drag was training the older rookies with advanced weaponry.  And Anonymous Benefactor was, as always, nowhere in sight.

G64 was in his private quarters, shining his WKAT Championship trophy.  His mind was elsewhere, reminiscing about Gigan's triumphant victory over GMK King Ghidorah.  Suddenly, he heard the new recruits outside gasp in surprise.  "What's that flying in the sky?" he heard one of them say.  Running outside, G64 saw what all the fuss was about.

In the sky, hovering a few feet above the ground was the large form of the Draconian, Deathwing.  The dragon's wings beat slowly as he landed.  The rookies crowded around him.  With a roar, Deathwing made them scatter.  GWB walked over to him.  "Hey, Dragonbreath.  What's up?"  Deathwing growled angrily.  "It's Deathwing, you mortal pipsqueak.  Where is your leader Dragitron?  I must speak with him."  GWB took a swig of his bottled water and lit a cigarette as Deathwing stood patiently waiting for an answer.  "He's inside the facility, training some newbies.  You can talk to me."

Deathwing began walking towards the headquarters.  "If you won't direct me to him, I'll find Dragitron myself."  GWB ran after him.  "Hey!  You can't do that!"  G64 shook his head in embarrassment as he saw what just occurred.  "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" he said to himself.

After the agents were assembled, and Anonymous Benefactor was put on speakerphone, Deathwing began to recount his plight.  "I have come here for one purpose.  I require the services of your agents, Anonymous Benefactor."  A. B. was silent for a moment.  "First of all, you must at least tell us why you need the help of the Agency."  Deathwing nodded.  "Yes, I suppose so.  For many years, I've been searching this dimension for an ancient artifact from my home world.  Early on, I had met Black16, and he agreed to help me with my search.  However, after recent events, he is not with us at the moment.  You are the next best thing."

Drag was still unsure.  "But what can we do?  Don't we have more important things to deal with, like finding the Three Keys?"  The other agents nodded in agreement.  "Yes, and we still have no idea where the First Key is," said Fudge.  Deathwing held out his hands to quiet his audience down.  "I was getting to that.  You see, each key represents a part of a whole being.  The Key of Body, the Key of Mind, and the Key of Spirit.  My artifact is called the Dragon's Soul.  It has been missing for thousands of years, and I have just discovered its location.  Legend says that the Dragon's Soul, a jade shaped like a Draconian's head, contains the power over the ethereal plane.  I believe that my people's jewel may actually be your Key of Spirit!"

Fury was the first to respond.  "Well, if that's true, then where can we find it?"  Deathwing continued his story.  "I have recently discovered its possible location.  An ancient temple of ice in Antarctica has been emanating a strange energy as of late.  As I neared the mysterious ruins, I noticed a large flying warship.  It appears that your friends the Garai Tai are way ahead of us all.  Naturally, I could not take them all on myself.  If you'll help me, we can retrieve the artifact from their vile clutches."

"Agreed.  Drag, take the agents to this temple.  We've got to stop the Garai Tai at all costs!" said Anonymous Benefactor.  "Understood, A. B.," Drag replied.  "All right guys, it's time we moved out.  Deathwing, lead the way!"
