THE THREE KEYS
Part One: The Key of Spirit

Chapter Three: Fury's Visitor

The Agents rested in their self-made camp, waiting for the storm to pass over them.  Fury's headaches grew worse and worse, so he left his makeshift tent into the icy tundra to clear his head.  He stood on a snowy hill overlooking a frozen lake.  "Why have you been following us?" he asked, turning to see an ominous figure just a few yards away.  "And why do my headaches get worse every time you are near?"

The stranger walked over to Fury.  "I have been waiting for you, Fury.  Waiting for years and years.  I can explain everything to you, in due time."  The two stared at the lake for a few moments.  Fury broke the silence.  "How do you know my name?"  The stranger turned to him.  "You don't remember anything, do you?  You were born here, Fury.  You aren't some freak experiment.  This is your home."

Fury looked surprised.  "And why should I believe you?"  The stranger smiled.  "Because I'm your brother."

Two hours later, the team awoke to find that Fury had disappeared.  "Where the hell could that lummox be?" Drag asked angrily.  "We've got no choice but to leave him.  Awsome 1, stay here and link up with our special digital camera.  Maybe you can find out the schematics of this temple.  If you find Fury, let us know."  The rest of the team left their camp and headed for the temple.  Within an hour, they had arrived at what seemed to be a pair of doors made entirely of ice.  GWB knocked on it with his hand.  "Well, we're not getting through there."  Suddenly, Fudge pulled out his broadsword.  He tapped the blade against the wall of ice, and it cracked.

In a few seconds, the doors shattered.  "Damn.  You've gotta teach me that some time, Fudge," GWB said in response.  The Agents made their way into the opening.  It was a long tunnel, lit by torches along the cavern walls.  G64 noted that the torches were lit recently.  At the end of the tunnel, a large cavern opened up, revealing an ancient temple.  Dragonheads adorned the walls of the temple's exterior.  A rickety old bridge connected a small river of ice to the temple itself.  G64 spoke into his head set which contained the digital camera.  "Awsome 1, are you getting all this?  It's amazing!"

Drag looked around.  He sensed that something was wrong.  'We're being watched.  Hold your ground!"  The Agents looked around anxiously.  Suddenly, a group of Gray Ninjas flipped out of the shadows.  Dracatron and Rex Raptor followed.  "Well, look who we have here.  Now, if you'll kindly give up, we'll let you live a bit longer," Rex said with a snarl.  "I noticed that Fury is missing.  Heh... that's good.  Then DaRokSez has done his job quite nicely."  Dracatron swiftly decked Rex in the jaw.  The reptilian growled menacingly at Drac.  "You never do know when to shut up, do you?" said Drac with an angry smile.  He turned his full attention to his brother.  "If you'll excuse us, the Key of Spirit is waiting."  Deathwing snarled as he jumped in front of the Agents.  "That artifact is not for you, demon!  I should kill you for what you did to Black16, but I know that something dark is controlling you.  You may live for now, but once the human is freed, you are mine!"

Drac laughed.  His voice changed into a deeper, more evil tone.  "You can't stop us, Draconian.  This world's time is up!"  The Ninjas prepared to attack.  "Destroy them!" Drac yelled.  "Let none survive!"
