THE THREE KEYS
Part One: The Key of Spirit

Chapter 8: Assaulting a Juggernaut

DaRokSez reached down to pick up the Key, but a fireball knocked him to the ground.  Dusting off the snow, DaRokSez looked angrily at Fury.  "I can't let you take that Key, DaRokSez," he said, a fireball forming in his hand.  "We've got some unfinished business from the tournament, remember?"  A trickle of blood dripped down from his forehead.

DaRokSez smiled evilly.  "Maybe Galex should finish what he started."  He motioned for the giant to attack.  Galex lumbered over to Fury, his enormous size dwarfing even Fury himself.  The Agent looked up at the monster of a man.  "Oh boy," he said as another fist met his face.

Awsome 1 struggled to get to his feet.  He unveiled his reptilian arm and jumped on Galex's back, but the man-beast threw him off.  Jumping again, A1 slashed at Galex's back, almost cutting right through his armor.  In anger, Galex turned around and kicked A1 to the side.  He pulled out an enormous axe and swung it over his head, ready to slice A1 in half.

"Hold up, big boy!  The party's just getting started!"  Galex turned his head in the direction of the voice.  It was GWB.  "Leave that freak alone, you freak."  He pulled out his Desert Eagles and unloaded them at Galex, but the villain spun his axe around, deflecting each and every projectile.  GWB shrugged his shoulders as he jumped up and spin-kicked Galex in the head.  He landed in the snow in front of Galex, but the giant cracked his neck and looked down at the pest.

An uppercut sent GWB flying into Fudge, who was running with Deathwing, G64, and Drag to catch up with GWB.  The others looked back at their fallen comrades with wide eyes.  "This isn't good," remarked Drag as he pulled out his swords.  "Somehow I don't think that's going to help," G64 said as he pointed at Galex.  Deathwing flew into the sky and fired a set of fireballs at DaRokSez.  The villain jumped back to avoid the balls of energy and fired his own volley.  Deathwing swerved to avoid them, then dove down at his foe.  He collided with DaRokSez, and the two tumbled down a hill.

Drag let fly a flurry of punches at Galex's chest, but they didn't even faze him.  Drag turned to G64 as he continued punching.  "I hope you've got a plan here!" he yelled.  As G64 shrugged, Drag was hit with a backhand and sent flying over G64's head.  He pointed to the sky suddenly.  "I've got it!"  But before he could explain his plan, GWB interrupted him.  "Way ahead of you, buddy!" he yelled as he ran towards Galex.  The giant stared at GWB as he attacked, letting kicks and punches hit him all over.  Galex grabbed GWB by the throat and picked him up.  GWB stifled laughter as he was choking and motioned for Galex to look down.

Attached to Galex's stomach was a pipe bomb.  He dropped GWB to the ground and struggled to remove the device, but GWB kicked him in the crotch and sent Galex rolling backwards down the hill.  A few seconds later, there was an explosion and GWB lit a cigarette.  "That was better than sex," he remarked as G64 shook his head.  "I can't take you anywhere," he replied.

Suddenly a large airship broke through the cloud covering.  The control deck was shaped like Rodan's head, complete with a semicircle of windows acting as makeshift eyes.  A somewhat long shaft connected the deck to a spherical body, twice the size of the head.  Portholes circumnavigated the length of the body, and small turret guns rotated along the entire length of the ship.  Another shaft connected the body to the tail end, where large jet thrusters propelled the ship through the sky.

The Agents looked on in awe.  "What the hell is that thing?" asked a now conscious Fury.  Awsome 1 looked grimly at Fury.  "It's called the Garula," he replied.  GWB looked curiously at A1.  "How do you know that?" he asked.  The scientist looked up at the warship.  "Because I helped design it," he said in a low voice.  Suddenly the Agents realized that they had forgotten something very important.  "The Key!" Fudge exclaimed as he ran to its location.

It was gone.
