THE THREE KEYS
Part Three: The Key of Mind

Chapter 1: Calm Before the Storm

All was quiet on Agency Isle three nights later. The majority of the agents were sleeping. GWB was on guard duty, and he was sitting at the watch desk with his feet on the table and his arms crossed behind his head. “God damn guard duty,” he muttered to himself. “Why the hell is my shift always the most boring one?”

His thoughts were cut short by the sound of movement outside. Whipping out his Desert Eagles, GWB snuck out the door. The noise was coming from around the corner. After taking a deep breath, he turned the corner and held out his guns.

Rampage looked up after lighting his cigarette. “Do you always welcome people with your guns like that?” he asked calmly. “I just stepped out for a smoke, that’s all.” GWB turned his head in disgust. “Pardon me if I don’t trust you. Didn’t my fist to your face give that away?” Rampage smirked. He felt his chin. “Yeah, I know. Care to tell me why you still hate me?” GWB narrowed his eyes at the General. “You know damn well why! You screwed up the whole mission, and never owned up to it!” Rampage got angry. “Me? You honestly believe that I was the only one who made the mistake?” He suddenly changed his expression. “No, you know what, now is not the time or place for this. We’ve got to discover the location of that Third Key. Let’s put our differences aside, all right?”

“Whatever,” GWB replied as he walked back inside. Rampage shook his head as he looked up at the night sky. “I wish something would happen soon. I’m beginning to think the Third Key will never be found.”

“Agency Isle in sight,” exclaimed the helmsman. Soddom stared out the window of the Garula. “Good. The Kaijunoids are ready. Everything is going according to plan.” He turned to the Six Eyes. “We’re all going down there to pay the Agency a visit. I want a squadron of fighters to hit their Headquarters with napalm ASAP. Force them outside! We’ll finish it from there!”

Omni stepped forward. “Are you sure about this, Soddom? Killing so many…can’t we just send a small squad to infiltrate the base?” Soddom glared angrily at Omni. “How DARE you question my orders! If you want this world changed, you’d better do as I say! They are the only ones who would resist us, and they must be eliminated!” Soddom looked at the other members of the Six Eyes. “That goes for all of you! You each have your respective objectives. Now go and prepare yourselves!” They ran out of the main chamber immediately.

Soddom stared at the peaceful and tranquil island. “It’s over for you, agents. I’m going to resurrect Bagan, and there’s nothing you can do to stop me!”
