THE THREE KEYS
Part One: The Key of Spirit

Prologue

The giant warship flew silently above the clouds.  A flock of birds scattered to avoid collision with the humongous vessel.  It was pitch dark above Antarctica.  A squadron of smaller ships flew out of a small opening in the ship and headed for the icy surface.

Inside the bowels of the ship, the Six Eyes eagerly awaited the orders of their master, Soddom.  He sat on a black throne adorned with various skulls.  The villain wore a green cloak and a helmet made entirely out of bone.  The helmet was adorned with a three-horned skull.  Two horns were over the eyeholes, and the third was above the nasal cavity.  This was the symbol of the Garai Tai, a makeshift skull of Bagan.

The Six Eyes were assembled in a straight line.  Soddom left his seat and walked back and forth in front of them.  He stopped in front of Dracatron, who stood still with an expressionless face.  "You failed to win the tournament, Dracatron.  I'm very displeased.  Things were going so well, too."  Soddom walked to Omni.  "You are in charge of the Six Eyes, so I want you to decide who is going to retrieve the Key."

Omni stared intently into his master's eyes.  "I fully accept responsibility for what happened at the WKAT.  Do to me what you would have done to Dracatron."  Soddom laughed.  "I do not intend to harm any one of you.  I simply wish that you do not fail me in the future.  Is that clear?"  Omni nodded.  Soddom returned to his seat.

Omni turned to his fellow Generals.  "All right, Rex, DaRokSez, and Dracatron can go to the Ice Temple and retrieve the Key of Spirit.  Use our Gray Ninjas wisely.  They are not simple tools for your amusement."  Omni directed the last remark to DaRokSez.  The villain shrugged his shoulders.  "Well, I need to practice my new tricks on SOMEONE, don't I?"

The door to the chamber opened suddenly.  Two Gray Ninjas came in with a struggling captive.  Soddom lurched forward in anticipation.  "Ah, the brilliant Kirby Fong thought he could elude my grasp, eh?  What say you now, madman?"  Fong tore himself from the clutches of the two goons.  "I fully intended to return to the Garula, Soddom.  Honest!  But... I got sidetracked.  Yeah, that's it!  Sidetracked!"  Soddom gave Fong an angry look that forced the programmer to turn his head in fear.  "Regardless of that, Mr. Fong, I'm sure you can pick up where your scientists left off.  I would very much appreciate your cooperation in finally completing Project Blight.  You failed to do it before, but now that the Agency is preoccupied, you shouldn't have a problem now."

Soddom ushered for the Gray Ninjas to take Fong away.  The man kicked and screamed to no avail.  As the door shut, Soddom glanced out the window into the night sky.  "Soon a new Golden Age will begin.  I will restore order to the cosmos, and Bagan is the one to help me do just that.  And if the agents stand in my way again, they are in for a VERY rude awakening."
