Round One

Dracatronr vs. Edda Robo E

       GWB and Fury were waiting for G64 at the entrance to the Avatar Quarters.  "What did he mean by 'the flames of hatred'?" asked Fury.  G64 shook his head.  "I've got no idea.  But I'd really like to know where the hell he came from." 

       GWB applauded G64's effort.  "Well, you did good, man.  Let's go watch the next fight."  They headed upstairs as the next battle began.

       "The box is locked, the lights are on, and IT'S KAIJU FIGHTIN' TIME!"

       A man virtually covered in metal made his way to his observation pod.  He was tall and well built, with an odd red lens for an eye.  His opponent walked to the other pod.  Wearing an orange robe, the second stranger walked gracefully to the pod.  He shot a glare at Dragitron, sitting in the stands.  After reaching a pod, the cloaked man took off his garment.  He was wearing a dark orange armor, and his eyes were white and empty.

       Drag's eyes widened.  "No!  It can't be!"  Fudge looked strangely at Drag.  "What's wrong?" he asked.  Drag continued staring.  "He's my brother, Dracatron!  He disappeared 5 years ago!"

       Dracatron stared coldly at Drag.  He turned his attention to his foe, the android Edda Robo E.  The android raised his arm, and the sound of clanging metal filled the city.  MechaGodzilla 1975 made its way to the ARena.

       "That pathetic toy will not be enough to stop me, droid."  Dracatron pulled out a strange kendo stick that glowed with odd, green energy.  It crackled and without warning a blinding flash covered the ARena.  The deadly form of GMK Ghidorah caused the audience to duck for cover.

       The three-headed god roared at the mech, and slowly walked toward MG75.  The robot hissed and held out its arms.  The hands rotated, and fired off a set off missiles, exploding against Ghidorah.  The futuristic weapons pushed Ghidorah back a little, but the titan pressed forward.  With an evil roar, Ghidorah flew into the sky, scouring the ARena with gravity beams.  A few of the wild shots hit MG75, showering the ground with sparks.

       The robot followed suit, switching to flight mode.  It flew behind Ghidorah, blasting the beast in the back repeatedly with eye lasers.  Ghidorah responded by looping around the robot and blasting it with gravity beams.  MG75 crashed to the ground from the force of the blows.  Switching back to fight mode, MG75 opened its chest cavity and caught the incoming Ghidorah in the chest with a chest beam.  The titan was blasted into a skyscraper.  MG75 grabbed Ghidorah by its twin tails and swung it around, letting go at the last second and sending the golden dragon into another building.

       Unleashing another finger missile barrage, MG75 caused the ARena to be filled with smoke.  When the dust settled, Ghidorah's wings could be seen, shielding its body from the blast.  The monster appeared to be unharmed, and fired a set of gravity beams at MG75's head, savaging the robot's eyes.  With a metallic roar, MechaGodzilla began to spin around, creating an odd force field.  Ghidorah ran towards its foe and was knocked to the ground by the force of the shield.

       Getting back to its feet, Ghidorah was met with an all-out assault by MechaGodzilla.  The robot fired all of its energy weapons and missiles at the dark god, forcing the beast backwards into a group of buildings.  Everything collapsed on top of Ghidorah, and MechaGodzilla roared in victory.

       "It's not over yet!" declared Dracatron.  An ominous glow shone through the rubble.  With an enormous explosion, a luminescent Ghidorah appeared from the wreckage.  Firing a steady stream of concentrated gravity beams, Ghidorah blasted a hole straight through MG75's chest.  The robot toppled over and exploded, sending pieces of metal in every direction.  Edda began to short-circuit and promptly fell over.

       "Looks like we have a winner!  Dracatron moves on to the Quarterfinals!" the announcer boomed over the loudspeaker.  The crowd was in awe of what they had just witnessed.

       GWB, Fury, and G64 looked on in surprise.  "Dracatron?!" said GWB.  "We haven't seen him in years!  What happened?"  Fury stared out the window for a bit longer.  G64 turned to GWB.  'I don't know, but I bet it has something to do with Rex Raptor and DaRokSez, I can tell you that."

       Drag rushed over to Dracatron.  Before he could reach his brother, three men wearing gray ninja suits accosted Drag.  They held him back as he screamed to Drac.  "Where have you been all these years?  Answer me, damn it!"

       Drac turned to his brother.  No emotion could be seen on his face.  Then he walked away.
