QUARTERFINALS

Ultimategamer90 vs. Gojira64

G64 looked warily at his opponent.  He had seen what UG90 did to a seasoned veteran, and he was prepared for the worst.  The young boy looked back at G64.  He knew what he was up against, but he had a determined look on his face.

"The box is locked, the lights are on, and it's KAIJU FIGHTIN' TIME!!!"

Gigan and Super MechaGodzilla stood toe to toe.  Seconds later the two monsters opened up with a flurry of punches, back and forth.  A volley of finger missiles caused Gigan to fall backwards in pain.  Struggling to get to his feet, Gigan met with a blast from the Garuda Cannons and toppled over onto a building.  As SMG approached, Gigan flew up into the sky and was caught in the chest with a plasma grenade.  Gigan's body crashed into a large building and lay still.

SMG hovered over to Gigan's bruised form and pointed his Garuda Cannons at his foe.  At that instant, Gigan jumped up and smashed into the left shoulder cannon rendering it useless.  The robot fell backwards from the assault.  Gigan took full advantage of the opportunity at hand and began to bash SMG in the head.  Sparks flew everywhere as the robot roared in dismay.  In a desperate attempt, SMG fired its eye lasers at Gigan, knocking the cyborg to the ground.  The robot flew into the sky.  The G-Crusher was activated and caught hold of Gigan.  SMG began sending thousands of volts of electricity surging into Gigan's body and the cyborg screeched in pain. 

"All right, MechaGodzilla!  Finish him!" UG90 yelled.  The robot obliged as it charged up its right shoulder cannon.  Suddenly, Gigan fired a concentrated laser beam at the weapon, the intense heat welding it shut, and the resulting explosion rocked the arena.  When the smoke cleared, the Garuda attached to SMG's back was completely destroyed.  The robot's head was covered in soot, but still it held firmly onto Gigan.  Opening up its chest plate, SMG intended to fire a plasma grenade and end the fight, but Gigan had other plans.  With another laser beam, the plasma energy exploded prematurely and caused the robot to shudder.  Its eye lights went dim, and smoke poured from its chest cavity.  The G-Crusher dropped to the ground with a clang, and SMG fell over. 

"Your winner, moving on to the Semifinals, is Gojira64!"  The roar of the crowd drowned out the announcer's voice.  As UG90 sulked away, G64 ran up to him.  "That was a great fight, kid.  I've got something for you."  G64 pulled out a business card.  UG90's face lit up in excitement.  "This is an entry card for the Agency!!!  Awesome!"  G64 smiled.  "Yep.  We're looking for Agents of all ages, shapes, and sizes.  Stop by Agency Island when you get the chance."  UG90 jumped for joy.  "Really?  That's great!  Thank you!"  The kid ran off.

Suddenly an unkind voice called to G64 from behind.  "So you and I shall meet in the Semifinals.  How...  fitting."  It was DaRokSez.  G64 wheeled around and stared at his foe.  "What is your problem, man?  You seem to dislike the Agency.  Why?"  DaRokSez sneered.  "I never said I disliked the Agency."  He pointed at G64.  "I dislike YOU.  I loathe you.  I hate you.  You will pay for what you've done to me!  I swear it.  Soon, this whole damn planet will pay for the way I was treated!'  With a poof, DaRokSez disappeared.
