Gojira64 vs. Dracatron

G64 was surrounded by his fellow agents.  "Don't worry," said Fury.  "We're here for you, man."  G64 looked at Gigan, who was limping toward the ARena.  "I'm not worried about losing, guys.  I'm worried about Gigan.  What if he doesn't survive this battle?"

He looked at his opponent, surrounded by the other members of the Six Eyes.  Drac was in a heated conversation with them, but he glanced up at G64, sneering at him.  Shortly thereafter, the villains dispersed and Drac entered his observation pod.  He eagerly awaited G64.

G64 began walking toward his pod.  He looked back at his friends, who gave him big thumbs up.  He entered the pod and it floated into the air.  "It's over Drac, or Corpsefire, or whoever you are!  I'm gonna end your winning streak here and now!"  Drac laughed hysterically.  "You can't beat me!  Your kaiju is about to be sent to that big junkyard in the sky!"

A lull fell over the crowd.  "All right folks, it's the moment you've been waiting for!  The final battle of this year's World Kaiju ARena Tournament!  The box is locked... the lights are on... and it's KAIJU FIGHTIN' TIME!!!"  The crowd roared in approval and eagerly anticipated this battle of monumental proportions.  Ghidorah began by charging at Gigan, knocking the cyborg onto his back.  Using his heads as battering rams, Ghidorah continued his assault on the helpless beast's chest.  Gigan's buzz saw whirred into action, cutting into the left head.  Ghidorah threw his necks back in astonishment and kicked Gigan into a building.  The cyborg crashed head first into the structure.  It collapsed on top of Gigan in a shower of glass, soot, and concrete.  Gigan got up weakly and was met with a set of gravity beams.  The beams blasted Gigan back into another building.  Gigan got up yet again, only to be met with another volley.

In one swift motion, Gigan used his remaining strength to fly at Ghidorah at top speed, but the titan blasted Gigan with another barrage of gravity beams.  Gigan fell from the sky on top of the tallest building.  The structure collapsed under Gigan's intense weight.  When the dust cleared, Gigan had disappeared.  In his place was a red diamond-shaped object.  Drac and Ghidorah both looked oddly at the object, which began pulsating.  "Is that supposed to protect your monster?  Ha!  Ghidorah, destroy it!"  Ghidorah nodded all three of his heads and began to fire gravity beams at the diamond.  Small explosions rocked the strange object.  Ghidorah continued to blast it, but to no effect.  Moments later, an odd blue beam shot out of the diamond and knocked Ghidorah onto his back.  The shocked kaiju returned to his feet and could only watch as the diamond flew into the air.  An enormous explosion destroyed the diamond, and Drac laughed hard.  "Hahaha!  Gigan self-destructed!  That's hilarious!  What do you say now, G64?  Have you accepted defeat?"  G64 stared hard at the explosion.  "Could it be?  Is he's... gone?  No!  Wait!  What's that in the smoke?"

A strange, yet familiar, figure emerged from the billowing clouds of smoke.  It had the basic body shape and design of Gigan, but the coloration was dark red.  Whereas Gigan had one hook-like claw on each arm, this new creature had two.  The spines on the beast's head were twice the size of Gigan's, and the sails on its back were also doubled in size.  The visor was a violent shade of blue.  G64 stared in awe.  "I can't believe it!  He did it!  He finally did it!"  Drac turned away from the new kaiju and asked G64 what he was talking about.  G64 responded immediately, anticipating the question.  "That creature you see before you is Neo Gigan.  He is a new and improved version of the monster your Ghidorah manhandled.  I programmed it into his system when we had first met defeat to hopefully improve his fighting ability.  I had no idea it would change him so much!"  G64 looked confidently at Drac and pointed to him.  "I told you I would end your victories, didn't I?  Prepare for defeat!"

Drac grew angry and ordered Ghidorah to fire his gravity beams at Neo Gigan.  The monster complied, sending a stream of energy at his foe, but Neo Gigan teleported behind Ghidorah and the beams hit a building.  Grabbing onto his surprised opponent, Neo Gigan started up his buzz saw and cut into Ghidorah's back.  In anger, Ghidorah flung Neo Gigan over his heads and slammed the kaiju onto the ground.  Neo Gigan rolled away and got up, roaring a challenge to his foe. 

Suddenly Ghidorah's eyes began flashing white.  Neo Gigan's visor followed suit, and Neo Gigan seemed entranced by the stare's hypnotic effect.  Drac smiled.  "I guess it works on anything!  Ghidorah, finish the job!"  Ghidorah fired a triple gravity blast at Neo Gigan, but the cyborg snapped out of the trance and teleported out of the way.  He appeared above the now-drained Ghidorah.  Mustering all his strength, Neo Gigan fired a blue laser beam at the three-headed god.  The laser enveloped Ghidorah in blue light.  When it was over, Ghidorah fell over, beaten.  Drac began to scream and curse.  "Impossible!  How could Neo Gigan have avoided Ghidorah's hypnotic gaze?!"

It was now G64's turn to smile and laugh.  "You forget that Gigan is a cyborg.  He's unaffected by your kaiju's cheap parlor tricks.  You've lost, Dracatron."  The crowd cheered in approval as the observation pods lowered to the ground.  Neo Gigan began to morph back into Gigan.  G64 nodded at him, and Gigan returned the notion.  "Well folks, after that exciting battle, it's time to crown the winner of this year's WKAT!  Gojira64, please come up to the main podium!"  The virtual battlefield disappeared and in its place was a small stage.  The announcer and the trophy presenter were waiting patiently for G64.  The other agents jumped out of the crowd and ran to their teammate.

G64 shook the hand of the announcer as he spoke.  "Congratulations, G64!  Here's your trophy!  You are officially the World Kaiju ARena Champion!  How do you feel?"  The presenter handed a golden trophy to G64.  Atop the trophy was a statuette of Godzilla roaring at the sky.  It gleamed and sparkled in the sunlight.  "This trophy is for Gigan, my friends at the Agency, and everyone else who participated in this amazing tournament!  Thank you, everybody!"  G64 held up the trophy and the crowd went ballistic.  As he returned from the podium, the agents shook G64's hand.  "You did good, kid," exclaimed Drag.  "Kind of like me when I was younger!"  Fudge just shook his head.  "That must have been a long time ago!"  Everyone laughed except for GWB.  "Hey!  I'm the one who makes jokes around here!"
