THE WAR OF FATE

Part Two: The Dark Citadel

Epilogue

The two armies were ready for battle.  Their kaiju were well rested.  The moon would rise shortly, and with it the Total Eclipse.  Samrong stared down at his army with deep pride in his heart.  The hour of his triumph was at hand.

Omni looked at Fury as the young agent stared out the window of the hovering Garula.  Did he have the heart to reveal the truth to the misguided youngster?  Was it truly time to tie up all the loose ends?  In moments, he would find out for himself.

Dracatron held Ragnarok in his hands.  The sword throbbed with power, and in his heart he realized what he had done to get this far.  Unflinchingly, Drac shed a tear as his conscience finally caught up to him.

Spyder blinked as he looked up at the Dark Citadel that stood before him.  How long had it been since he last saw the monument?  Hundreds of years?  Thousands?  The being licked his lips at the thought of engaging the agents in battle.  He would gorge upon the flesh of his enemies this night.

Gojira64 looked over the ridge at the army of the Garai Tai.  He couldn't believe that so many rallied for the destruction of the world.  What would happen once the battle began?  How many would fall for their individual cause?

Black16 knew the consequences.  He had been an emissary for Elohem for only a short time.  Was he ready for such a war?  For the first time since his transformation, Black16 was afraid.  And yet, he feared for the millions of innocents involved.  Was this destiny calling?

High on top of a cliff, a lone warrior looked down at the armies.  The Fallen Warrior was drawn to this place.  Here he would find his fair share of demons, but in a way, he hoped that the Abyss would never be opened.  A gray mist enveloped his body, and the mysterious fighter disappeared.
