THE WAR OF FATE

Part Two: The Dark Citadel

Prologue

"And during the last hours, Elohem and Levah made the Great Destroyer.  They named him Abbadon and set him in an egg of solid rock.  Abbadon was loosed only every five thousand years to reshape the universe as Elohem and Levah saw fit.

"However, Levah changed soon afterwards and let his evil and greed corrupt the free peoples of the galaxies.  Beings great and small were twisted and bent to Levah's will.  Many wanted the power of Abbadon, but Elohem protected the great beast from all of Levah's followers.  Finally, Levah was sent to the Abyss to spend all of eternity, and Abbadon was kept safe for millennia.

"Time passed and people forgot the legend of Abbadon.  The story of his creation was left only to scholars.  Levah managed to eke out his evil from beyond the Abyss, and it managed to reach a young scholar named Daneasaur.  The scholar researched Abbadon and did as his master commanded, building a monument called the Dark Citadel.  He gathered others who would follow the rule of Levah and assembled them at the tower.

"Daneasaur freed Abbadon from his slumber and became Soddom, 'The Chosen One.'  From the Dark Citadel, he controlled the Great Destroyer and would have destroyed the world had it not been for the Avatars of Light.  The warriors defeated Abbadon and returned him to his egg.  As for Daneasaur, the details of his defeat have been lost over time.  His followers were disbanded and disappeared, and the Dark Citadel crumbled to dust, never to be seen again...
