The 5000th World Kaiju ARena Tournament
A Prelude to the "Three Keys Trilogy"

Prologue

(the following takes place a year after the "War on Infogrames Trilogy")

It was a beautiful summer day in Tokyo, Japan.  Millions of people were crowding the city, attempting to gain entry to the yearly, weeklong celebration known as the World Kaiju ARena Tournament.

Every year the WKAT is held in Tokyo to honor the sacrifices made thousands of years ago against an evil so powerful, it threatened to wipe out the human race.  Only a handful of avatars and their kaiju stood in the way of an evil cult and its god.

But that was 5000 years ago.  Now kaiju take part in an enormous tournament to crown the World Kaiju Champion.  In the Virtual ARena Complex, kaiju go at it in one-on-one battles.  Once a battle is finished, a superior computer system recreates the ARena to begin the next battle.  The buildings may be computer generated, but they are definitely solid!

Sixteen competitors have made it into the first round.  Three of them are agents: Gojira64, Guy Wearing Black, and FuryOfPowerX.  The remaining avatars have come from all over the world to lay claim to the championship.

This year is especially important, because it is the 5000th tournament.

And history has a way of repeating itself.
