It is all about the cards, isn't it? I just want to have a space to rant on about how great or how lame particular cards are to me. Here are my Top 5 You-Best-Have-In-Your-Deck Cards:

Raigeki
I think this is the best card in the game. Simply destroy every monster your opponent has on his side of the field. As great as magic and traps can be, it eventually comes down to the monsters themselves. Magic and Traps only affect how and when you play the monsters. So this is ultimate field advantage we are talking. Although it isn't hard to find, the fact that is is such a staple makes it increasingly harder to track down. No one wants to part with it and rightfully so.

Monster Reborn
Right up there in the rarified air of Raigeki. Any monster you can get as a Special Summon is great, but the beauty of this is when a monster is in the graveyard of either side, you can bring it back under your control and still get your normal summon to boot. Plus if it was a sacrifice monster, with a few exceptions, you can bring it out anyways. So with some strategy, such as with Tribute of the Doomed or Magic Jammer, you can get the true beasts of the game out with the play of this card.

Mirror Force
It now has some competition with the emergence of Magic Cylinder, but I still think this card edges it out. Only for the fact that it has the potential to affect more than 1 monster with its painful power of monster removal of all monsters in attack mode, not just the one attacking. And as well, it negates the damage of the attack just as Cylinder. I would rather destroy the attacking monster than reflect the damage and have the same monster plus a friend attacking me the next round. That's the beauty of Mirror Force.

Change of Heart
All the hard work your opponent went through to get that Blue Eyes onto the field: Sacrifice, the threat of Fissure or the ugly Trap Hole. All that so you can play this card and basically have your way with his monster for one turn. Want to turn Blue Eye's fury against it's former master? Go ahead! Need to see him cry as you use the behemoth as a sacrifice for a hearty Millineum Shield? That's your call. This card is so versitile and can provide you with a free attack or a free sacrifice at the right time. Not to mention, you can use it on facedown cards to at least see what is in store for you, then plan accordingly.

Pot of Greed
Simply cuts your deck down by 3 cards by allowing you to get 3 cards (including this one) in one draw phase without penalty. Getting the next 2 cards after this is just awesome. You can get any of the formentioned cards or get a crappy draw out of the way. Again, just a sweet card.

Some other Hotties are:

Dark Hole
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Jinzo
Imperial Order

Underestimated Cards

Offering of the Doomed
Solemn Judgement
Exchange

It will be a task, but I will put up my collection and try and keep it current. But as anyone knows, I love the art of trading as much as playing the game. So, it will be behind from jumpstreet. We'll see how it goes ; )
