Alucard

Alucard is the son of Count Dracula and a human women named Lisa. Although he has the vampiric powers of his father, he also retains his mother's humanity. Teamed up with Trevor Belmont, Grant Dynasty, and Sypha, Alucard defeated his evil sire. He then put himself into eternal slumber, which is disturbed whenever his father awakens from the dead once more.


Strategy: Alucard specializes in close combat with his sword. Use his weapon based Specials and Hypers to mix up the attacks.
Battle Plan: Alucard himself has average speed, however, his sword attacks, especially his fierce punch attack, are very slow. If blocked or avoided, he is left wide open.

  • Chain Combo, Tele-Slash or Wing Smash or Osafana Slashs
  • Summon Spirit, Any Combo, Spirit Hits

    Special Moves:
    Tele-Slash*: A shadow of Alucard is sent behind the enemy to attack with Alucard's sword
    Dark Metamorphasis: Sword attacks become D element and heals Alucard slightly. Lasts for 5 secs
    Chaos Screw*: Alucard holds open his cape and two balls of energy shoot out. (A)(D)
    Summon Spirit: A holy spirit appears above Alucard's head and homes in on the enemy (H)
    Gravity Leap*: Alucard does a super jump upward at a 60 degree angle. Causes Damage(A)
    Basic Throw: Knees the victim in the gut, then backhands them.
    Bonus: Double Jump,Wall Cling
    Launcher: Sweeps his cape upward for a launcher
    Familiar: Pick one after selecting Alucard
  • Fairy: Will automatically cure negative status for Alucard
  • Demon: Command to attack. Uses a variety of elemental spear thrusts (S,F,W)
  • Bat: If it is ready, rushes out whenever Alucard attacks. Very weak
  • Sword: Command it to fly out and do a spinning attack.
    Hyper Attacks:
    Wing Smash*: Morphing into a bat, Alucard charges into the enemy. 15 hits. (A)(D)
    Sword of the Dawn: Raising his sword to the sky, Alucard summons a small army. 16 Hits (D)
    Osafana Slashs: Runs forward while delivering 12 sword strikes.
    Brothers of the Sword: Must have sword familiar. An extremely large sword attack. 15 hits Free Movement.
    Enter: A cloud of mist floats down and turns into Alucard
    Taunt: Draws his cape up to his shoulder
    Victory: A fairy, ghost, bat, sword, and demon gather about Alucard.

    Special Block: Draws his cape around his body to block
    Special Death: As he flies through the air, Alucard dissolves into a mist of blood

  • Grant Dynasty

    Grant is a hunchbacked thief who was controlled by Dracula. After Trevor Belmont defeated Grant's mutated form, he became himself once more and teamed up to defeat his captor. Grant is very agile and has the abilities to stick to walls and ceilings.


    Strategy: Grant is one of the fastest people on this website. Grant can move in close quickly, and then get back out before his target can retaliate.
    Battle Plan: Grant is hard to catch up to do damage. The best strategy is to anticipate Grant's movement and do a countering attack before he even starts his moves.
    Combos:
  • Chain Combo, Dagger Whistle or Acrobat or Acrobatter

    Stats: Power: 3 Energy: 5 Defense: 5 Speed*: 9 Ratio: 2 Size: S

    Special Moves:
    Acrobat*: Grant performs a forward moving flip attack.
    Dagger Toss*: Grant jumps over the enemy and throws daggers downward. (B)
    Dagger Whistle*: Throws a dagger at the enemy (A)(B)
    BackFlip: Jumps back and up. Can catch the enemy and slam then to the ground.
    Ceiling/Wall climbing abilities
    Basic Throw: Slips onto the enemies back and slits the throat
    Bonus: Wall Jump, Wall Cling, Air Dash
    Launcher: Crosses two daggers over his head.
    Hyper Attacks:
    Acrobatter: Perform a forward flip (C) and hit the enemy for 11 hits. Can be used in air
    Dagger Rain*: Jumps over the enemy and drops 20 daggers. (A,Fires straight down)(B)
    Hunch Attack: Jumps upward to catch the enemy in the air and throw them.

    Enter: climbs in on the ceiling
    Taunt: Swallows a dagger
    Victory: Juggles 6 daggers

  • Richter Belmont

    The latest in a long line of vampire hunters, Richter is the best killer of the undead ever to live. Unfortunately, after Dracula was killed by him, Shaft, a dark priest, found a way to control him so that Dracula could be ressurected.


    Strategy: Richter is a well-rounded warrior. The main point for his strategy is to select the correct weapon to counter his opponents style. Also, his medium and fierce punches throw out his short whip.
    Battle Plan: Richter is hard to fight in close, and yet his weapons can make distance fighting a problem. Like Grant, the best strategy is anticipating his moves and having a counter already in action.
    Combos:
  • Chain Combo, Triple Tactic or Whip Fury
  • Launcher, Weapon Crash: Boomerang
  • Sweep Combo, Weapon Crash: Holy Water

    Flying Kick*: Kicks his legs up and pushs with his arms so that he flies forward at the enemy.
    Blade Fist*: Jumps into the air with his fist encased in a blade. Uppercut (A)
    Blade Charge*: Moves forward with a blade spinning around him (A)
    Bonus: Double Jump
    Weapon Change: Change between a dagger, holy water, an axe, and a boomerang

  • Dagger: Throws a dagger
  • Holy Water: Throws a bottle at ground, bursts into holy fire(H)
  • Axe: Arcs a throwing axe skyward
  • Boomerang: Short range boomerang

    Basic Throw: Wraps his whip around the victims head and throw them
    Launcher: Swings his whip in a shortened rising slash Hyper Attacks:
    Whip Fury*: Quick slashes with whip covering a wide area, hits up to 15 times (H)
    Triple Tactic: Does flying kick, blade fist, and then charge. 5 hits each
    Weapon Crash: Effect depends on with weapon Richter is using:
  • Dagger: Throws 37 daggers straight ahead
  • Holy Water: Pillars of holy energy move towards the enemy. 10 hit(H)
  • Axe: Throws 20 axes in an arc
  • Boomerang: A holy pillar surrounds Richter, 16 hits(H)

    Enter: Runs on screen leaving a shadowy trail
    Taunt: Stands straight and tall with dignity
    Victory: Uses whip to stick a stake into body

  • Count Dracula

    The lord of the darkness himself. The legend of Dracula has inspired countless works of fiction (or is it?). Dracula is the father of Alucard and the blood enemy of the Belmont clan. Dracula created Castlevania to hide him from both the sun and the Belmonts.


    Strategy: Take advantage of Dracula's high defense to take the fight to the enemy if you so wish. Actually, Bat boy works best in a medium ranged battle plan.
    Battle Plan: Very hard to fight due to his Ratio level of 3. Beating him a matter of outsmarting him and taking advantage of his lower speed scores.
    Combos:
  • Sweep Combo, Dark Pillar or Demon Claw if near the screen edge
  • Chain Combo, Blood Refresh or Vampire Fangs
    Similar To: Alucard, Rogue, Jin

    Fireballs*: With a wave of his cape, Dracula fires 3 fireballs (A)(F)
    Dark Pillar*: A pillar of dark energy bursts from the ground (D)
    Vampire Fangs*: Slides forward to grab the enemy and bites them (Drain)(A)
    Wine Flame: Throws a wine glass on the ground, which causes ground to flame (F)
    Basic Throw: Wraps his cloak around the enemy. They vanish then fall out of the sky
    Teleportation
    Launcher: Throws open his cape, causing the enemy to be launched

    Hyper Attacks:
    Flame Shard*: Dracula releases 15 large shards of burning glass(F)Gains fire strength
    Demon Claw: Dracula punchs forward and a large claw attacks, like Blodia Punch 10 Hit(D)
    Blood Refresh: Dracula moves forward and bites the enemy 10 times.(Drain)

    Enter: Breaks a wine glass on the floor
    Taunt: Throws his cape out so it can billow
    Victory: Dark Priest Shaft appears in a glowing orb

  • Olrox

    A vampire working for Count Dracula in Symphony of the Night. Olrox is considered by the count to be the guardian of his great hall.


    Strategy: Olrox is a heavy magic user. His best place is back, away from his opponent, bombarding them with his magical attacks.
    Battle Plan: If you can get in close, Olrox is nearly helpless. His distance attacks are slow to start, making it hard for him to use to attacks if his enemy is in close.
    Combos:
  • Ouiji Table, Chain Combo, Shadow Beam
  • When enemy jumps towards Olrox: Salamander Breath
  • Chain Combo, Black Hole
    Similar To: Magneto, Amingo, Sonson

    Stats: Power: 4 Energy*: 7 Defense: 5 Speed: 4 Strength: F Weakness: H Ratio: 2

    Special Moves:
    Shadow Beam*: Fires a dark wave attack (A)(D)
    Mindful Bane*: Raises a hand, creating a skull that homes on the enemy (D)
    Hell Shadow*: A pillar of space distortion raises below the enemy (A) (D)
    Shadow Slide: Becomes less then substantial, Olrox can move forward or back, through things
    Ouiji Table: Creates a sentient table that moves to attack Olrox's opponent.
    Basic Throw: Grabs, then pushes a Mindful Bane skull into the enemy (D)
    Launcher: A demon's hand reaches out of the floor for a punch

    Hyper Attacks:
    Space Distortion*: 3 large Hell shadows rise up. Left,Right,Middle. 10 hits each(D)
    Salamander Breath: Transforms into lizard (right) and shoots a volley of 25 fireballs (F)
    Black Hole: A large, black ball of energy appears, centered on Olrox. 14 hits (A)(D)

    Enter: Sitting on a throne, it shatters
    Taunt: Waves his arms and skulls appear in the air; laughing
    Victory: Splits into 3 Olroxs and all raise their arms in victory
