Guy

Guy is the heir of an ancient karate art known as Boushin. When his mentor is captured by the Mad Gears, Guy joins Mike Haggar to drive them out of town. Guy also appeared in the Street Fighter Alpha series.
Note: "B." stands for Boushin


Strategy: Guy is great for an in-your-face attack strategy. He is fast and powerful, but can't take solid hits. Try to run in, attack, then get out.

    B. Senpuukyaku*: A hurricane kick attack. Flies through the air in a slight arc. 4 hits
    Izuna Drop*: Jumps up and forward, drops down with an elbow smash. Must be blocked high
    Kage Sakkies*: Runs forward and does a slide kick just before reaching the enemy. Block low
    Hozonto: Runs forward and punches the enemy
    Kubikari: Runs forward again, and does a launching jump kick. Block high
    Basic Throw: Falls onto his back and throws the enemy over him
    Launcher: Guy does a high kick

    Hyper Attacks:
    B. Goruikyaku*: Moves forward doing various punches and kicks. Ends with Kage Sakkies. 10 hits
    B. Musourenka: Dashes forward (C) grabs the enemy for a 6 hits combo, screen flashing. Unblockable
    B. Hazansenpuukyaku: Does a Senpuukayu kick straight up. 10 hits. Enemy rises with Guy

    Enter: Does practice kicks
    Taunt: Shrugs in a "why me" gesture
    Victory: Crosses his arms

    Top Rolento

    A member of the Mad Gears Gang. Rolento is one of the leaders of the group. He is also featured in Street Fighter Alpha, where he is trying to get Bison's aid to rebuilt the Mad Gears and take over the world. The only thing stopping him from achieving his goal is Guy.


    Strategy: Rolento is a strange fighter. He's just plain odd. His Makong moves can confuse the enemy. His weakness is that he doesn't do much damage, although he is fast and well armored. Move in an strike and move out, slowly wearing down the enemy. Makong moves are more for movement than attack.

    Special Moves:
    Patriot Circle*: Steps forward and spins his weapon in a circle. May be done 3 times in a row
    Mad Grenade*: Casually tosses a grenade at the enemy. Explodes on contact
    Makong Raid*: Rolls backward, then jumps forward with a weapon strike
    Makong Delta: Does a backflip, hits the ground and rolls forward as an attack
    Makong Escape: Jumps to the side wall and bounces off. May attack on the way down.
    Basic Throw: Holds the enemy while kneeing them in the stomach
    Launcher: A rising staff strike

    Hyper Attacks:
    Steel Rain*: Throws daggers straight up. 8 hits. Then they fall down on the enemy. Another 8 hits
    No Prisoners: A short ranged blast (C) knocks the enemy up and they are impaled on a hook
    Mine Sweeper: Rolls backward dropping 10 grenades.

    Enter: Drops from above head first
    Taunt: Pulls the pin out with his mouth and throws a dud grenade
    Victory: Snaps his fingers and Arab looking people hang down stab with daggers

    Top Mike Haggar

    The Mayor of Metro City. A former Pro-wrestler, Haggar once angered a gang known as the Mad Gears. Now, years later, the Gears attacked the city in huge numbers. Haggar and his friends, Cody and Guy, take to the streets to take back Metro City.


    Strategy: The best strategy is to try to corner the enemy and use his unblockable throw moves to do massive damage. The only real difference between Haggar and Zangief is that Hagger is weaker, but much faster.

  • Chain Combo, Launcher, Spinning Piledriver or Final Top or Spinning Punch
  • Sweep Combo, Suplex Attack or Final Smash (while rising)

    Special Moves:
    Spinning Punch*: Haggar spins around with his fists out. Projectiles go though Haggar during this move. 4 hits (A)
    Suplex Attack*: Hops forward (T) and does a jumping suplex
    Haggar Drop Kick*: Jumps and flies forward with a flying drop kick.
    Turnbuckle Throw: Hagger jumps up (T) and throws the enemy to the ground
    Spinning Piledriver: Reachs forward (T) and does a jumping piledriver. (A)
    Basic Throw: Picks up the enemy. Simply holds the victim to let Haggar due a special throw
    Launcher: Basic standing uppercut

    Hyper Attacks:
    Final Top*: Does a spinning punch attack straight up. 8 hits
    Final Crash: Walks forward (T) does a suplex, enemy flies, Turnbuckle, into a piledriver
    Oh no, My Car!: Punches forward (C) puts the enemy into a car and beats the living hell out of the it. 10 hits.

    Enter: Goes from the picture above and puts on knee armor gear.
    Taunt: Flexes his muscles
    Victory: Eats a giant chicken

    Top Maki

    An assistant to Mayor Mike Haggar. Maki trained with Guy for many years and the two are close friends. However, when the Mad Gears kidnap her Sensei, she joins Haggar on his quest to clean the streets. Note: This fighter is based on the Final Fight series, not on the mockery in Capcom vs SNK 2.


    Strategy: A medium ranged fighter. Maki has no real projectiles, so she must rely on her speed to charge in, hit the enemy, and run back out again. Her defense is below average, but isn't too much of a problem.

  • Chain Combo, Launcher, Air Combo, Flame Cap

    Stats: Power: 5 Energy: 3 Defense: 4 Speed*: 8 Ratio: 2 Size: M

    Special Moves:
    Spinning Hand Stand*: Spins around on one hand with a kick. Costs Maki some life to use it.
  • This move has the highest priority of any special. It beats anything but projectiles and hypers.
    Flame Cap*: Shoots a medium ranged lick of flame from her hand (F)(A)
    Sonic Splitter*: Jumps straight up doing vertical splits. Works as an uppercut attack. 3 hits.
    Smashing Combo: Hops forward (C) with a 4 hit combo ending with a single hit Sonic Splitter.
    Basic Throw: A basic over the shoulder throw
    Bonus Abilities: Double Jump, Wall Jump
    Launcher: A standing Sonic Split

    Hyper Attacks:
    Supreme Spinning Hand*: Does a forward moving Spinning HS. 15 hits
  • The hyper version doesn't cost life and has an average priority, unlike the special.
    Severe Burning: Opens her hand and releases a huge gout of flame. 8 hits (F)
    Head Injury: A hop and shoulder tackle (C) launches the enemy. Maki jumps, and lands on the victims back.

    Enter: Starts off talking to Haggar on her cell phone
    Taunt: Her phone rings, and she answers it, while give the "talk to the hand" gesture.
    Victory: The phone rings again, she gets pissed, throws it up and gives it a roundhouse kick. Then sighs
