Wing Zero / Heero Yuy

The leader of the Gundam Wing force. Heero pilots the Wing Zero gundam, a vehicle with a cannon powerful enough to wipe out the space colonies it comes from. Heero often acts cold to others and does anything to complete his missions, including removing other Gundam pilots from the battlefield. Weapons include a beam saber and the giant beam cannon.


Strategy: Wing Zero works well as both a melee and distance fighter. Try to confuse your enemies by changing strategies as needed.
Battleplan: Wing Zero's speed is low enough for most characters to use whatever strategy they want. Others should wait for him to come to them unless he goes projectile.

    Double Blast: Fires a fireball like blast in both directions.(S)

    Colony Buster*: Splits the Gattling and fires in both left and right with huges beams, up to 26 hits (A,S)
    Zero Warning: Shoots a giant beam up at an angle. Up to 26 Hits (S)

    Enter: Fly down in plane form and transform.
    Taunt: Fakes a self-destruct. The gundam begins changing colors.
    Victory: The gundam does that hand in the face thing Heero does in the credits.
    Special Block: Uses the Wing Zero's shield
    Special Death: Falls to the ground and breaks into pieces

  • Death Scythe / Duo Maxwell

    Duo is the flamboyant self proclaimed God of Death. He never seems to take himself or his enemies seriously. His gundam uses a double bladed plasma scythe to rip his opponents limb from limb. The Death Scythe is outfitted with a limited cloaking device to hide its movements from friends and foes alike.


    Strategy: Duo is an excellent medium ranged figher. All of his specials have some range. Stay just within scythe range.
    Battleplan: Either stay back, out of his range, or move in close enough to punch him. Either situation will let you attack him without giving Duo much change of attacking back

    Shield Drill: Launches the shield in a spiral to dig into his foes. Must be picked up.
    Plasma Spin*: Spinning the scythe over his head to form a plasma barrier. (D)
    Machine Gun: Shoots a spray of weak bullets from his head.
    Missles*: Four missles shoot out from the DS's back. (A,S)
    Plasma Wave*: Swings the scythe and launches a short ranged wave projectile. (D)
    Basic Throw: Impales with scythe, throws enemy at the ground

    Death Drill: A much more powerful Shield Drill. Independent movment. Up to 15 Hits
    Thermal Wave(*): A large wave of energy moves towards the enemy. Hits up to 8 times. (D)
    Detenation: The DS uses a strong explosive to fake its own destruction. Creates a large field of damage. 12 Hits (F)

    Enter: DS's green eyes appear and the suit uncloaks.
    Taunt: Closes the wings so it looks like the pic.
    Victory: Raises the scythe in the air and then cloaks.

  • Epyon / Zechs Marquise

    Formerly of the Oz military organization, Zechs was a top pilot of the mobile suits. After defeating Heero and the original Wing Gundam, he loses support from the commanders of OZ for rebuilding the gundam. Later, Zechs becomes the leader of the White Fang, an organization trying to destroy the Earth. Eypon was built by Treize. Its main weapons are a beam saber and a cutting whip.


    Strategy: Like many of the gundams, Eypon has a versatile selection of attacks. Use his variety to keep the enemy wherever the enemy does not want to be.
    Battleplan: Zechs' whip attacks are a little on the slow side. Block his specials and counter.

    Ground Whip*: The cutting chain rips downward into the earth and comes up under the enemy (E)
    Sky Beam*: Jumps upward with the beam saber. Uppercut (A,S)
    Rushing Whip*: Moves forward while whipping the chain faster then the eye can see. (A,E)
    Whip Throw: Throws out the chain to catch the enemy and throws them backward.(A)
    Machine Gun: Like most of the Gundams, the Epyon fires bullets out of its head.
    Basic Throw: Wraps chain around the target, rips it off
    Bonus: Air Dash, Wall Jump
    Launcher: A short upward sweep of his blade
    Hyper Attacks:
    No Future Chain*: Like the Ground Whip, the chain bursts out under the enemy, waving in a large area. 15 hits (E)
    Fly-by Blast: Like in the show, the Epyon flashs past enemy (C) leaving them with large gashs caused by the whip. 10 Hits (A,D)
    Beam Rush: Moves forward with a series of 10 beam saber blows (S)

    Enter: Changes from the ship mode to robot mode.
    Taunt: The gem set in its chest releases green light.
    Victory: Everything on the screen simply explodes!

  • Talgies / Treize Khushranata

    The leader of OZ and a member of the Romerfeller foundation. Treize is an European aristocrat to the finger tips. Although he greatly respects mobile suits, he prefers dueling with swords, not mecha. The first Talgies was built by Zechs and was later destroyed. This suit is a rebuilt version. The main weapons are a powerful cannon and a beam saber.


    Strategy: The Talgies is more of a projectile fighter than most of the Gundams. Stay back, firing missiles and Double Bits while using the Beam Crash and Head Smash to keep the enemy back
    Battleplan: Slow for a projectile fighter. If you can get through his defenses, he doesn't have much to enough in melee combot

    Beam Crash*: A single powerful sword strike. Can move any distance to enemy. (S)
    Double Bits: Two mini mechas are released and home in on the enemy (S)
    Head Smash: The Talgies flys upwards at a 30 degree angle head first.
    Basic Throw: Grabs the enemy and delivers a head butt

    Launcher: Hops up with a shoulder ram (A)

    Giant Sub: A submarine breaks the ground under the enemy. 12 Hits. (W)
    Blue Stinger*: A series of 20 missiles are fired rapidly from the Talgies cannon (S)
    Vernia Blast: The Talgies flys forward head first. Up to 15 H. (A,S)

    Enter: Lowers down using Vernea Rockets.
    Taunt: The Vernea rockets flare.
    Victory: The Talgies lowers its weapons and salutes.

  • Nataku / Wu Fei Chang

    Wu Fei is a quite honorable warrior. He is a master martial artist. While he doesn't pursue tactics that he perceives to be unfair, he does not hesitate to use the enemies own weaknesses against them. Nataku is equiped with a lance with beam edges, a "dragon arm", flamethrower, and a back-mounted laser.


    Strategy: Nataku is another well-rounded fighting gundam. His specials can cover nearly all of the screen area. Stay where the enemy doesn't want you.
    Battleplan: If you can keep him back with a projectile fighter, he is in trouble. Nataku may have plenty of distance too, but he is slower then most heavy projectile users.

    Dragon Arm*: The left arm shoots out to grab an enemy in a crushing blow.
    FlameThrower*: The dragon arm releases a burst of extremely hot fire. (A,F)
    Rear Laser*: The back mounted laser opens and shoots upward at a 45 degree angle (S)
    Staff Rush: Moves forward with a series of 3 laser lance attacks.
    Lance Combo: Releases a quick series of 4 lance strikes while standing still.
    Basic Throw: Lifts the enemy on his staff and puts out the energy blades
    Launcher: An upward stab with his staff

    Hyper Attacks:
    Double Burst*: Both arms shoot large streams of fire forward. 20 Hits (F)
    Dragon Lance: Nataku throws its lance upward, and a large lance strikes downward. Like Sonson's attack. 10 Hits (F)
    Spirit Dragon: The dragon arm fires out and waves like a whip at the enemy. Up to 16 Hits.

    Enter: The dragon peeks in, then Nataku fades in.
    Taunt: The dragon extends and Nataku looks at it.
    Victory: Spins the lance overhead, then holds it behind him.

  • Sandrock / Quatre Winner

    Quatre is the gentle heir to the Winner family fortune. Although he is quite rich, he quickly agreed to leave it all behind to fight for the peace of the space colonies. Quatre does not like hurting people, but he will fight with all his heart to protect his home. His gundam, Sandrock, wields to large blades called Heat Shotels. Sandrock is built to be able to receive large amounts of damage.


    Strategy: The closest thing to a Gundam-melee fighter. Quatre needs to stay as close as possible to the enemy, which might be hard given his below average speed.
    Battleplan: Keep him away with projectiles. If he gets sorta close, expect to see a Shotel Throw attack. Only Grapplers should get close to him for long

    Shotel Throw*: Sandrock throws a shotel like a boomerang moves forward and returns (E)
    Pincer*: Moves forward a short distance and clamps down with both shotels (T)
    Shotel Spin*: Goes airborn and spins with both blades extended. Think Wolverines Tornado. (A)
    Uzi Shot: Takes out his giant uzi and lets the enemy have it! Short Ranged (A)

    Basic Throw: Picks up the enemy and squeezes with the shotels
    Launcher: A double rise with both shotel

    Hyper Attacks:
    Shotel Shot*: Throws both shotels at the enemy. When hit, the shotels rotate without moving. Each hit for 10 hits. (E)
    Shotel Crush: Moves forward a short distance (C) and unleashs a series of 12 hits.
    Air Shotels: Twirls the shotels upward for a large combo. Up to 16 Hits. (E)

    Enter: A group of Leos are cut down by Sandrock
    Taunt: Puts blades on back and clenchs up.
    Victory: The door opens and Quatre comes out.

  • Trowa / Heavy Arms

    The pilot of the Gundam Heavy Arms. Trowa is an extremely agile person. When he lands on Earth, he works at a traveling circus as an acrobat to travel undetected. Trowa is a quiet boy, willing to do whatever it takes to defeat Oz.


    Strategy: Heavy Arms excels in distance combat. His heat blade attacks don't really cover the ranged needed to be effective in melee. Use the blade as a last resort and fire missiles and bullets.

  • Chain Combo, Launcher, Homing Missiles

    Special Moves:
    Missile Launchers*: Fires 4 missiles out of his arms and legs. Travel is a straight path
    Gattling Arm*: Holds out his arm and fires 6 bullets straight ahead.
    Heat Blade*: His none gattling arm puts out a blade and he swings heat blade. (F)
    Dive Slide: Air Only. Dive downward with a kick, then slides along the ground. The slide must be blocked low.
    Basic Throw: Slices his enemy with his heat blade (F)
    Bonus Abilities: Flying
    Launcher: An upward sweep of his heat knife

    Hyper Attacks:
    Heavy Artillery*: Fires 12 missiles and shoots 8 shots from his Gattling Arm
    Homing Missiles: Fires 12 missiles straight up, which home in on the enemy
    Swirl of Fire: Swings his arm as a sweep (C) does a horizontal torpedo attack, cutting with the heat blade. Ends with an uppercut. 10 hits (F)

    Enter: The suit is open, and Trowa does a backflip into the suit
    Taunt: Opens up all of his missile launchers and machine gun turrets
    Victory: The gattling arm drops off the Gundam

  • Leo Suit

    The generic battle suit of the Gundam Wing era. Leos carry a beam saber and a bazooka like cannon as well. Leos are basic cannon fodder that is used by all the different forces in the Terran Sector.


    Strategy: The best use for a Leo suit is as cannon fodder. Simply let the Leo keep the enemy occupied while stronger fighters recover their health. All of his moves have fairly lengthy recovery time, so make sure you don't miss.

    Canister Rifle*: Fires multiple machine gun blasts from his gun. 3 hits
    Beam Blast*: Dashes forward with a beam saber attack
    Shoulder Cannon*: Fires a short ranged beam from his shoulders. 4 hits (A)
    Launcher: Punches upward
    Basic Throw: Grabs the enemy for a head butt

    Hyper Attacks:
    Multi-Cannon*: Fires both the Canister Rifle and Shoulder Cannon. 10 hits total.

    Enter: A plane flies by, dropping the Leo suit. 50% chance of falling on its face
    Taunt: An arm falls off, the other arm quickly picks it up and reattaches.
    Victory: Draws his beam saber, does a fancy attack routine, ending with cutting off its own leg
