Spiderman

One day, Peter Parker was bitten by a spider that passed through a radioactive beam. He somehow inherited the physical charactistics of a spider, agility, wall-sticking, and strength. Peter works as a struggling photographer, until he figures out how to take Spiderman pictures!

Strategy: Spiderman moves like lightning. Jump at the enemy and do a web ball at the last instant, probably dodging the counter. Spidey doesn't have a lot of distance attacks, so use a middle range fight.
Battle-plan: It is very hard to get close to take advantage of his low defense due to his amazing agility. Wait for him to use his specials and counterl; or simply keep him away with projectiles.
Combos:
  • Chain Combo, Web Ball or Crawler Assault
  • Chain Combo, Launcher, Air Combo, Web Ball or Maximum Spider
  • Sweep Combo, Crawler Assault

    Similar Fighters: Ken/Ryu Family

Enter: Lowers upsidedown on a webline
Taunt: Says hey and does some weird hand gesture

  • Venom

Eddie Brock was a reporter that worked with Peter Parker, but always seemed to be in the wrong scheme at the wrong time. Eventually, he gets fired. Then, he came in contact with an alien symbiote that turned him into Venom. The Venom suit is actually a living being and can reform into whatever Brock desires it to be.

Strategy: Unlike most characters, Venom has very little recovery time on his specials, even when blocked. It is possible to do non-stop Venom Fang attacks, not leaving enough time to counter.
Battle-plan: You need to dodge his attacks, leaving enough room to counter effectively. Smaller characters should stay close and crouched; the Venom Fang will go right over them!
    Combos:
  • Sweep Combo, Venon Rush or Doom Bite
  • Chain Combo, Venom Fang or Venom Rush or Doom Bite or Venom's Maw
  • Launcher, Air Combo, Venom Fang
    Similar Fighters: Dhalsim, Sentinel

Victory: "We want to eat your brains!" while licking lips

  • Carnage

Like Venom, Carnage is a symbiotic organism. The Carnage symbiot is actually an offspring of Venom. The main difference between the two is in their style. While Venom often uses tentacles, Carnage prefers hacking and piercing weaponry.

Strategy: A Carnage player needs to keep up a constant barrage of lightning quick attacks. His extreme speed means that there is very little lag after his special or hyper attacks. Use it to keep the enemy from responding.
Battle Plan: His defenses are abysmal. Even a single, moderately powered hyper attack can nearly kill him. Even blocked hypers can still deal as much as 10% of max life. Either keep him away with projectiles, or try to counter with hypers.
    Combos:
  • Chain Combo, Cleave Axe or Crimson Spire
  • Sweep Combo, Sinister Spike
    Similar To: Venom, Dhalsim

    Stats: Power: 7 Energy: 4 Defense: 1 Speed*: 9 Ratio: 2

    Special Moves:
Web Throw*: Uses webbing to pull in the enemy, then stab them with his hand
Sinister Spike*: Like the Venom Rush, except a large spike bursts out of the ground
Cleave Axe*: Similar to Venom Bite, except with an axe.
Blood Spike: Turns his arms into a spike, which shoots forward.
    Morphing Body for Regular Attacks.
    Launcher: Same as Venom

Crimson Ax*: Moves forward swinging his arm, which is an axe. 10 hits
Carnage Venom: Jumps and shoots out a web (C) then stabs 10 times in the body
Bloodshed: Forms a huge axe, uppercuts (knocks into air) and slams downward

    Enter: The symbiot surrounds
Taunt: "Uncovers" his head, and laughs at his opponent
Victory: Laughs insanely while grabbing his head.

  • Black Cat

Peter Parker's friend Felicia was once captured by the Kingpin. Using a formula once created to make Captain America, Felicia is subjected to strange experiments. She becomes the Black Cat, and has powers very similar to Spiderman's. After a time, she becomes his partner.

Strategy: Black Cat plays almost exactly like Spiderman. She is quick, but her physical abilities leave a little to be desired. Get in, do a combo, get out before the enemy can counter. If Cat gets trapped in the corner, she is in big trouble.

Strategy: The master of illusion has strong specials, but in melee just falls flat on his face. Use a lot of distance attacks and try not to let the enemy in close.

    Scorpion

The Scorpion was once only a lowly janitor. When he was asked by his employer to be subjected to some tests, he agreed. However, the "tests" turned out to be a full experiment that resulted in the lowly guy getting turned into a human scorpion. The scorpion was selected because they are natural hunters of spiders.

Strategy: Scorpion is a good middle ranged fighter. His long tail gives him a reach advantage that most fighters have trouble dealing with. However, this extra range comes at a price; he has bad start and recover times.
    Combos:
  • Chain Combo, Tail Member
  • Sweep Combo, Acid Spawn
  • Chain Combo, Launcher, Spike Thud or Spider Hunter
