Morp
this year was very, very cool. This was my first Morp,
but I hear it was the best one ever. The music was provided
professionaly, as were the lighting and visuals.
This
year's ASB was also the best ever. Morp had the Lounge,
a place to hang out before, during, and after Morp. This
was where concessions were sold and inflatable chairs,
beds, and couches were set up.
Mike
Deseo, active ASB officer, chills out in the lounge he
helped make (hey!! I contributed by loaning them that
silver chair!!!). Mike also joins friend Jon Zabala on
one of the mattresses.
The
Lounge was also a great place to sit back and see all
the great costumes the guests came up with. Lise and Matt
stopped by, so did Mike Dinsmore and Deseret.
When
the dance floor got too hot, the Lounge was a great place
to crash. The ASB provided cold water and sodas to drink
while the guests themselves chilled out. Ehren showed
up (yay!!!). Thuy Tran, Elliot, and I really appreciated
ASB's Lounge idea. Thanks!!!
The
ASB also constructed mini-platforms to dance on and cages
for dancers to dance in. Despite all the extra space,
Morp was still crowded (good news for ASB treasury)!
Okay...
crowded was an understatement. There's Kyle busting it
in the middle. Karen and Elliot are near the bottom of
the picture. Despite the overpopulation, Janice manages
to grab some space to have fun (she's on rollerskates!!!).
Jon
and Karen enjoyed the music, but I think Jon got a bit
woozy after his performance.
More
great costumes were found on the dance floor. Reuben matched
the Morp atmosphere; they were both flamin hot!!! Jen
and Richard had a blast. Senior Class Prez Jazelle Zabala
got into the Morp spirit, too!
After
3 hours, exhaustion took its toll. We all still wanted
Morp to go on, and as the DJ played the last song, we
put our hearts into it.
Afterwards,
a group of friends and I hit Denny's Bonita and made fun
of Joe. I'd like to thank the ASB for my first, final,
and greatest Morp!!!
