Background: We normally get veggies for both humans and vermin every Sunday at the farmer's market. I get lots of discarded carrot tops and radish tops for the rabbits. Generally on Saturday night, they get a ha-yooj salad of all unconsumed human and vermin veggies from the previous week. Anyway, knowing that I wouldn't be getting my weekly bounty this weekend, I went to the greengrocer on Friday after work and got 4-5 days' worth of bunny-suitable veggies.
So, Saturday afternoon rolls around. I am in my hotel room in LA, and Dan calls me from the airport.
Me: "Did you remember to feed the doofi?"
Him: "Oh yeah! Boy, were they ever happy to have such a giant salad!"
Me: "Eh?"
Him: "Gosh, there was just a ton of veggies in the fridge, so I gave them all to them!"
