Hey there. Sloth and Indolence is an acoustic grunge band from the hard-hitting streets of Seattle. Sloth, is the singer of the band. He likes to dig in the trash, play at dirty bars, and cuss at bums. Indolence, the guitarist, is a loose cannon. He likes strippers, fried chicken and also enjoys cussing at bums. They are not passionate about their music, they do it for the money.
It all started when Sloth(real name is Joe Gretege), beat the crud out of Indolence(real name is Indiana Bones) in a strip bar in Seattle. They drew a crowd and got paid $5 by the bartender, so they decided they would quit their jobs at the t-shirt printing factory and start a band.
The song "I hate your face" was immediately accepted by all of the people Sloth and Indolence played for as a great song to get drunk to. They grew in popularity and eventually toured a great deal in Japan, opening for Mr. Block once in awhile.
They flew in by helicopter and played a halftime show at Compost Shark's Power Outage concert in November 1999. They beat up themselves and an innocent bongo drum when an audience member asked if he could use the bathroom. Rob, the victim of this attack, had to eat out of a straw for weeks. Compost Shark would like to apologize to Rob. We are so sorry Rob. :(
