Born to rich merchants Ernest and Mary Latrine, Chandler is the youngest of five. He grew up at home in Freelance often in trouble with the authorities for small acts of pilfering that seemed to be more aligned with seeing if he could get away with it than anything else. This of course put him out of favour with his father who was constantly keeping him out of gaol and out of the public eye for fear of tarnish to the family reputation. This didn’t hold him back as he began to move into adolescence and he began to explore his horizons more and more, trying to find the next biggest thing. He continued this for the next few years, eating deeply into his father gold reserves. At sixteen his father grabbed him by the collar and swallowing his pride, gave him a stern talking to. Chandler, aghast by what his father said, replied, “I had no idea that you felt that way. What can I do to make it up to you?” Chandler ran from home that very night, despising himself for making himself a delinquent in the eyes of his family. He had to redeem himself. He soon fell in with a party of adventures and kept himself clean until presented with 6000 very easy gold pieces, virtually sitting at his feet. The temptation was too great and he soon fell into his old ways. And he was enjoying it. Finally, after all these weeks... Chandler then found himself a friend, Sneek, a young ratman, just beginning in a similar profession. His first act with friend Sneek was to swindle a small inn out of its best and most expensive Dragons Breath Ale and its months profits whilst defending the tavern against Orc raiders. A few hours later Chandler realised his inability to hold even small quantities of alcohol. He next found himself allied with Goldar “life is an aphrodisiac” Ironfist and the ledgendary intelligent hammer Kordros. He learned to respect even the barbaric for the traits that keep them alive from day to day. Soon the adventuring life bored Chandler and after losing an argument with a gold dragon he and Sneek went off in search of their own fame and fortune. Their travels took them across the known world reaching from The Oasis of the Sun to Brookemere. When Chandler reached twenty-one, he and Sneek found themselves prowling the major markets of Freelance again, planning as best they could for a great heist of Freelance monetary exchange. They were surveying the area, when Ernest Latrine launched himself upon Chandler. A “Where have you been?,” interrogation soon followed and Chandler was dragged hand on ear to the family mansion. Sneek was left behind dumbfounded, where he was picked up by the authorities a few short hours later with the heist blueprints in his possession. Chandler quickly explained his travels to his amazed family, tales of winning an argument with a gold dragon, saving a noble cat warrior from Hobgoblins, being part of adventures involving the savior of entire villages, only to be rebutted by an exlamation from his father, along the lines of 'That is the biggest heap of shit I've heard in my life, and believe me, I've been here a long time". Chandler fled the home that night upset that he had failed to compensate for his past crimes. He searched for Sneek in vain for many hours before realising that he had lost his best friend forever. The next major chapter of Chandler’s career began when he found his old ally Puraj, the cat warrior in Aysen. The two began talking of their previous adventures and they were soon on the road looking for new people with which to align. They found them in Heresford. Soon to be great names such as proud Merlin, Nefril, Selina Fellion, the brothers Ferrian and Frederic, The Silver Dagger (halfling Henry), and the deranged Bloodfrenzy. They plunged into the Underdark on an epic quest that found them in a massive war of an Orc, Derro dwarf, Kua-toa, Illithid and a mighty Aboleth alliance. In battle many of these brave names perished to foil the plot that may have caused the desctruction of the Known World as we know it. The Silver Dagger, the brothers and Bloodfrenzy were the brave few. Then there was a late joiner. Goldar appeared in all his glory, drunken and smelling considerably, to be the savior of the party in a massive melee with a mighty shadow dragon. Chandler then witnessed what must be assumed to be the passing of Goldar. The dwarf, bleeding from many wounds was struck in the shoulder by a crossbow bolt causing him to stagger backwards toward a ravine. Chandler lept towards him and clasped his hand around the Dwarf's as he toppled backwards. His grip slipped and the dwarf slid further away. Stones fell away as Chandler began to slip forwards as well, the dwarves weight to much for him. Goldar grinned a toothless grin and released the hold. Chandler gasped as the dwarf disappeared into the mists below. Chandler’s fame spread throughout the Known world as the news of their victory in the Underdark moved from town to town. Pride swelled in the heart of Ernest Latrine, but as Chandler didnt know that he went about his business as usual. Chandler found himself back in Freelance where, much to his surprise, he found Sneek exactly where he had left him. Sneek had just been released from the local gaol and was on the recieving end of a lecture from the extremely righteous Gerrard the Pure. Chandler and Sneek resumed their plans for the bank robbery straight away. A few months later they were 5000 platinum pieces richer, an act which crippled the local economy and earned them a substancial reward on their heads. They fled from the city, burying the loot, far within the Deepwood. They were persued heavily and they eventually decided that the best place to hide was in the deepest jungle in the Known World, Freelance itself. They found a trustworthy person to hide them called Charlie the Knife. They hid within the city's walls for a year, subsisting in a single windowless room huddled around a candle playing Chinese Checkers. The checkers board was finally thrown against the wall after Chandler lost another game, completing his shocking run of no wins for the entire year. They left the dank room finally one day when Charlie queried Chandler on the possible whereabouts of a local thieves guild owner. Chandler replied, “Ah, him, from the way he was going, my guess is that he now resides in one of the lower levels of the cities sewer system, victim to the curses of the Rat Cult.” It turned out that he was right. Charlie, then amazed by this feat, asked him another, he was right, and another, he was right, and then another, he was right. Seeing there was money to be had, Chandler and Sneek left the humble (dank) abode (hellhole) of Charlie and made out of the city. They retrieved the loot and bought a large building high up in the Grey mountains within Kosken Keep. From here they built, with their vast fortune, a spy network that has infiltrated all the major and minor societies and organisations that exist. From here he leads “The Silver Daggers” (he swears he made the name himself). from here he is the target of infinite bounty hunters and law enforcers alike and perhaps on of the most powerful figures of the Known World, even if no one really knows if he exists.
