After the incident I didn’t really tell anyone about it and that night the weirdest thing happened to me that night. I had a night that I hadn’t had since I was 12.It was about my dad. When he was in the hospital. I still remember it vividly. I don’t know if I ever mentioned it but I was with my father when he died.

“Daddy, daddy I brought you flowers”

“Thank you princess”

“How are you feeling dad?”

“Im alright, sweetheart but there is something I need to tell you. I love you and your mommy and ray so much but daddy has to go away”

“Daddy when will you come back?”

“Never sweetie but ill miss you guys so much and I love you lots”

The rest of the week went good. Darien and me started to talk more and grow closer due to the recent events I guess we just kind of bonded due to the fact that he knew something that no one else knew. On Saturday night ray had Darien over to watch movies and I got ready for my big date. It took me hours. I wore my hair curly and down with a beautiful pink dress. Seiya was supposed to pick me up at 7:30 and it was now 7:24. I went into the living room. I went and sat down on the couch with ray and Darien.

“Serena you look nice” Said ray

By that I was in utter shock. Ray had never ever given me a compliment .So I took advantage of it and thanked her.

“She’s right you do” Said Darien

As time passed. It was now 8 o’clock. I just figured that he was running later you know. It then turned from 8 to 8:30 and 8:30 to 9 and I knew I was stood up.I was so Devestaed.This would have been my first date and I was stood up.i couldn’t help it I busted in to tears and ran up stairs.

About a little while after. I was still pouring out tears. Someone then knocked on the door.

“Go away” I shouted
But they opened the door anyway wiped away my tears too see who it was and it was Darien.

“Serena listen to me”

I turned my head. “What is there to listen too? I was stood up on what was to be my first date”

“Look at me, You’re a beautiful young girl and any guy would love to go out with you, Just that guy was a jerk and definitely doesn’t know what he is missing”

“Thank you Darien. That means a lot. But I think im going to go to bed.”

“Alright”

And then he left. He was probably right Seiya is a jerk. A lot of guys are jerks. The only thing is you have to try and find the ones who aren’t. For example Darien. He is an amazing guy. I would kill to have a guy like him. He is hot,sweet,caring and he is just so amazing. Even though my sister is dating him ,for some reason I really wish he was mine. I think. I think I like him.
