The Third Theatre Picturebook
The Third Theatre Picture Book

The following begins what will, hopefully, be an extension grouping of photos from acting and theatre classes and, someday, actual plays I'm in at Goucher.

One of the two acting classes I'm taking is called "Commedia Outreach," like the acting movement Commedia del Arte. We all had to choose a character type and create a character out of that, that we would be for the rest of the semester. We then go out into underprivilaged communities in the city and improv scenes that get kids into acting. I chose to be "Greta," the confused foreign exchange student. The following pics are of me and various friends from school trying on my hideous blonde wig.

Eric, delicious acting buddy in Acting Two

Jason, junior friend, science nerd, and president of Dulaney House

This was taken after a very hyper Theatre Production course, which follows Commedia class on Tuesday afternoons. That's me on the left, Eric (from Commedia class; he plays "Jeremy," the slightly SPED kid with social anxiety disorder), and Chris (half-British best buddy). We all exchanged accessories that day: I'm wearing Eric's hat; he's wearing mine; and Chris is wearing my glasses.
