Two Lives So Changed
And so as the nights again turn cold
I think of the fun we used to have, now it's so old
Sitting in your car encased in snow
Just the two of us making love, nobody could know
Running back to your room in the middle of the night
Baring our souls to one another until the early morning light
And now my body misses you by my side when I sleep
And my mind misses the secrets and promises you'd keep
My ears miss the words your mouth used to say
Confessions of love, weren't we both so brave?
But you won this time, and left me behind
Just me, my wrongs, and visions of you in my mind.....
