Palas:
This zone is located north of ayarok or whatever as well, its a bit further north than the mustaba exit, but its the same direction of sort, move about 20 north out of town (an estimate, get an swalk from someone maybe to palas?). Take an east exit followed shortly by north again into NPK, it leads you to the traders camp area. The traders reside just outside the gates of palas. Palas is the minotaur city and is home to 'The Incarnation of Palas' which was once the hardest mob in the game! The gates are guarded by to minotaur gateguards, they fuck you up in about 1/2 a round and charge, and they're aggro, dont tango with them. The gate is !bash and only pickable by level 41 characters. Now, this zone is very large and is compiled of about 3 floors or so. Each floor and the entire zone is basically a square shape of maybe like 40x40 rooms or so? The mobs here range quite a bit as well, theres children which are cake to kill, the guardsman, officials, and bueracrats are all simple for heroes. However on the higher floors theres much harder mobs. They consisit of 'Minotour footman, pikeman, officers, Elite guards' those are all tough but /can/ be solo'd if the right strategies are applied (blind/poison, fear to get them alone, full spellup, etc, use patience :p) Also in palas is a roaming 'Palasian Spy' he's usually hidden life, he stabs and circles but can be solo'd by stronger heros, he loads arubus and the green suede boots.
Now it would be WAY to much for me to explain how to get everywhere in palas so
I wont, and frankly I don’t think I can off the top of my head, when I run the zone I just sorta know it in the back of my head. So I'll let you guys roam and explore this zone and I'll just give some general info on the eq mobs. Theres several rooms in palas housing different mobs that you'll encounter, 'special' mobs or something cus theres only one of them in the zone.Glassblower: He's located north on the second floor, he's a mage that hits fero through sanc with a lot of hp, spell him up, keep him tp'd, maybe even disel his ass, he can be a bitch cus he fireballs etc. He loads a glass rose which is 120k treasure. Jendia: dont fuck with her, she hurts but she's got a hankerchief, type 'comfort jendia' and she'll give you the hankey its 40k treasure.
Locksmith: he's pretty easy he loads a belt that can tweak with 4int soemtimes.
Little Girl: this girl is located north a bit near the locksmith, she loads a wooden ball which is 9k treasure, and a pink dress. Her dress is used for a proc on 'Arkad' an eq mob in palas. Searching her rooms leads to another room east where you can find the sheperd pipes laying on the floor (level: 0, 2 con hold eq, nice for newbie gains)
Braeden:
Braeden is located in somewhat of the climax area of Palas, 'the Citadel of Palas' it’s like the holy part or some shit, his room is in the northeast corner of this area. He's an ill thats !blind and perm lev, takes at least 2 hero's to kill him, 1 melee real good melee hero can solo him if things go right. Killing braeden gives you a book, in his book is a key, go all south from braedens room and search, unlock the trapdoor and down there is 'Sumara' she's tougher than braede, requires 3-4 hero's. Ill with firshield sometimes and lev, she loads some nice gear. Officers: the officers are all in a small area of palas just near the citadel, they're all asleep so you can spell them up somewhat easily, they can be a pain b
ut soloable by hero's. They load 'iron bracers', base stats is like 18hp 1 dex, 1 con, -6 ac wrist eq, but they can tweak to -9/10 ac, 2 dex, 28hp, etc can be real nice for ills in need of dex.
Arkad: he's located westish in the beginning of the citadel, he's a real hard ass guy, have someone wear 'a pretty pink dress' (that you got from the little girl while relicing!) go into his room and 'flirt arkad' it causes him to pass at and get poisoned. Arkad requires about 8 hero's, 2 to trip, and you MUST have backup trippers, he hits extremely hard and missed trips can mean dead people quick. Spell him up and disarm his kris, he loads a nice shield and armor with the kris as well. Incarn: Incarn requires a few things, first you have to kill at least 2 guardians, theres 4 of them guarding the altar each with a key, you need at least 2 keys to run incarn because they crumble after one use. I would suggest killing the first guarding thats just west/north a bit, he loads the golden bracer which can tweak very nicely(hr/dr/ac wrist). After getting the keys, proceed into the altar rooms.
*Side note* This area where the guards and everything inside the guards areas is CPK*
Inside the altar area its rather small, a sqaure shape area where incarn is in the middle locked in a box basically, he's surrounded by 4 highpriestess, one on each side.You have to kill each one to lift the spell off of incarns room so you can access it. They're rather tough and require the form to kill, they're sanc'd and sometimes lev'd, hit pretty hard and they heal. Now, unlock one door where incarn is and move in, he sits in one room and its !recall CPK Upon entering, all the exits close so you're in the fight until death by you or incarn. Incarn loads some real nice gear but make sure you trust your form well. After he's killed, unlock a door with 1 of the other keys you aquired from the Elite guards. *if things get real tough* You can unlock a door and order the form to flee out to safety and recall.
