Eminem on how he won't write anything about 9-11-01
Eminem tells Vibe magazine that even though he parodied Osama Bin Laden in his video for the hit single 'Without Me', he's going to stay away from September 11, 2001 lyrically. "It's a subject I couldn't really bring myself to make fun about," he says. "Then I'd just have no fucking morals or scruples at all."

Em's Mother on sueing her son
WENN reports Eminem's mother Debbie Mathers is waiting for her son to apologize to her so that the pair can be reunited. Debbie insists she never meant to sue her son, things just got out of control. "I never intended to sue my son. The lawsuit was my attempt to hold on to my home," Debbie said. "I'd given Marshall my trailer to rent when I moved back to Missouri. But Kim fell behind with the payments. I figured I had to sell it to pay the debt, but she wouldn't let me. She threatened me with a lawyer, so I consulted one myself. Then the whole thing just escalated. The first thing I knew, I swear, was when Marshall rang me and said, 'Mom, why are you suing me for $10 million?' I nearly fell over. It was ludicrous. Then word got out and the world saw me as an evil bitch from hell. What mother sues her own son? I was cursed in public, spat at in shopping malls."
Scott Stapp Won't Let His Son Listen To Eminem
A Blender reader asked Creed frontman Scott Stapp if he'd let his
son Jagger, who turns 4 next month, buy the new Eminem album 'The
Eminem Show'. "No. Absolutely not," Stapp said. "Parents have a
responsibility to make decisions about what they want their children
to hear. You get only one shot at being a parent, and you have to do
what you think is right. Nothing against Eminem on a personal level
or against the way he expresses himself, but I wouldn't want my son
listening to him."
Suge on Eminem
Suge: How could Dre can make a song dissing Jemaine Dupri with a white boy? I ain't no racist motherfucker, but he ain't fit to get in our game and talk about our people. This motherfucker talked about Puffy, now Jermaine Dupri, Will Smith and he's doing it with a nigga, that ain't paid enough dues. I don't give a fuck how much you wanna act black, "Boy you ain't no nigga" People need to listen what he says, the motherfucker sounds like he Elvis. He's the first whiteboy to make more money off black people than Elvis.

admires her CD, Laundry Serivce. He says he respect Shakira becasue she writes her own songs one of his favorite Shakira tunes is POEM TO A HORSE, which is about being in a relationship with someone who is selfish. Em says it reminds him of

Ahead of the release of his debut film '8 Mile', Eminem is the cover story on this week's Entertainment Weekly. Asked whether he was worried about acting, Slim admits, "At first I thought it was going to be easy. I actually said that! [Curtis and I] had a conversation in my driveway and I said, 0'I don't think there's anything to this acting thing. Once I can focus on something and just give it 100 percent, I won't let you down.' And he laughed and was like, 'Marshall, I'm gonna tell you like this, it's not as easy as it looks.' When I started going through rehearsals I started realizing, fuck!"

Some Florida cops owe Eminem an apology
Some Florida cops owe Eminem an apology. That's because the rapper was, until earlier today (11/12), listed on the Monroe County Sheriff's Office web site as having been arrested for possession of 250 rocks of crack cocaine and a marijuana stash. The bust of "Eminem Marshall Mathers," which supposedly occurred on December 26, 2000 in Key West, never happened, according to red-faced cops. After TSG asked about the rapper's purported drug-dealing arrest, Deputy Becky Herrin acknowledged that the sheriff's office had published erroneous information on its web site, but was unable to say whether the bogus report "happened during training or if it was someone goofing off." Herrin said the posting was "inappropriate. We apologize for that. We're looking into how it happened. And we'll discuss it with the responsible party if they're still here." Herrin added that details of Eminem's supposed drug arrest have "probably" been on the Monroe County web site for about two years (but that information was removed this morning following our inquiries). For posterity's sake, TSG made the below screen grabs from the sheriff's web site before it was scrubbed. Along with the Eminem bust, Monroe County cops also had to delete information of the phony arrests of Mr. Gay and Ms. Coffee. (1 page) Slim Shady's

EMINEM RECENTLY SPOKE BOUT BENZINO (NEWS!)
Eminem was on Hot 97 recently and tried to explain why Benzino is
really beefin with him.. When asked if he ever spoken to Benzino, Em
told Angie that you can't speak to benzino cuz Benzino records
phonecalls and that he's scared if he threatens Benzino over the
phone he might get into trouble. Seems to me as if Benzino is really
gettin' under Eminems skin.
Eminem's dad tries a new tack
Eminem's dad wants a reunion with his famous son. But Bruce Mathers shouldn't hold his breath, MSNBC Online says. Mathers Sr. hasn't seen his son since the 30-year-old rapper was 7 months old and says he has been trying to reach his son since seeing him profiled in Rolling Stone three years ago. The rapper hasn't returned his calls, so now he's taking his plea to the press by sharing heartwarming details of little Eminem's childhood with the London Sun. "At 11 months he took his first steps, his favorite song was "The Ugly Duckling," and he loved cherry and vanilla pudding," Bruce Mathers said. "I'm confident this reunion will take place." But in his hit "My Name Is," Eminem sang: "If you see my dad/tell him that I slit his throat in this dream I had."
