December the band officialy named Bauhaus 1919 played their first show togehter
1979
January they record a five song demo
May they drop the '1919'
summer 1979 they get a record deal w/ Small Wonder, during the recording session they put down "In The Night" "A God In An Alcove" "Dark Entries" "Telegram Sam" "Nerves" "Honeymoon Croon" "Kamikazi Dive" and "Shows"
September Small Wonder Records releases the "Bela Lugosi's Dead" single
December the band plays the John Peel Show on bbc radio
