Experience is self-awarded because we believe you can be trusted to be able to do this (it's really hard, but we do have faith in you). You decide how much experience your character deserves for the week (all within limits of course). The range is between 1 and 6 points a week. Requests are taken on Sundays, if you can't be online said day, you can request it a day later, but no more than that. XP not requested will go into oblivion, no allowances. Ask for your xp or lose it.

In order to gain this experience you note the bot to the effect of: I would like 2xp for the week's rp for my XYZ character.

The command for notes is: !msg Katerine [and then type in the text you want to note her with.]

Experience is basically spent the way it is written on the chart in the Requiem book (page 93). If you have any questions on spends, please come to #ROS-help. If there is no cost listed for something in the book, it does not immediately mean it is free, please contact a member of the staff for clarification.

To spend XP, you have to first note the bot with something along these lines:

!msg [Katerine/Zarek/Synaesthesia] I would like if you oh so wonderful dragon, you who work so hard to keep the channel working, and make this website amongst other things and managing also to lead your private life, would you please allow my humble request to spend 5xp on buying the first dot of Auspex for my character name.

You then add the new dot and the spenditure to your character sheet. Once you have updated your sheet, email it to the channel's address. Remember to email a copy of your character sheet each time you spend Experience on it, or else it will NOT be approved.

[1 experience point] - Some role-play/interaction over ONE or more days of role play.

[2 experience points] - Playing at least TWO or more days with some furthering of your own goals.

[3 experience points] - Playing THREE or more days with some goal developments.

[4 experience points] - Playing at least FOUR (4) days and some major character development

[5 experience points] - Either playing FIVE (5) or more days with major character development OR playing SEVEN (7) days that week.

[6 experience points] - Playing SEVEN (7) days that week with some seriously major character development or achieving a specific character goal mentioned in the character sheet.
