The Fae

Noble warrior, noble Sidhe,
canst thou best Banality?
Rule thou wilt, for rule thou must,
so unto thee we give our trust.

Playful Pooka, woe and ruth -
canst thou ever tell the truth?
Prank for need, prank for fun,
but careful lest thou be undone.

Nocker, Nocker, build thy dreams -
is it Glamourous as it seems?
Ever cynic, ever tough -
is your work just not enough?

Boggan loyal, Boggan dear,
to whom my need commits me here.
To help the needy is thy call -
to its cry you listen all.

Sluagh hiding, Sluagh shy -
dost thou fear the public eye?
Quiet voice and hidden ways,
in the dark forever stays.

Noble Trolls, protectors all,
royalty once who did fall.
Strength of mountains, courage bright,
ever faithful in the fight.

Lustful Satyr, full of song,
wouldst thou revel all day long?
Songs of joy, songs of lust,
the gifts of Pan are in thy trust.

Redcap, Redcap, raging bright,
creature of the ravening night.
Anger's thy gift, battle thy call -
but will your rage destroy us all?

Eshu dark, Eshu proud,
'veloped in thy mystic shroud.
Star of wonder, star of light,
tell us all thy tales tonight.
