The renegades were eventually tracked to the third planet of a nine planet solar system. An orbital firefight ensued. The Axalon was greatly damaged, and ejected their stasis pods into orbit.
Both the Axalon and the stolen ship plummeted to the surface.
The Axalon resides on a precipace in a river valley, that ended in a steep cliff with a tall waterfall. An impressively beautiful place had a starcruiser not crashed there.
The four members of the crew roused themselves after the impact and scanned the general vicinity. The Energon levels were too high outside, so they scanned some native creatures to protect themselves from Energon overload.
The stolen ship crashed on the hardened crust of a molten region of the planet. The ship was thoroughly twisted from impact.
The Predacon leader arrived at the same conclusion that they could not got outside in their unprotected forms due to the high Energon levels. Since there was minimal animal life in the surrounding area, he had his science officer scan some fossilized remains in the neighboring hillside. Another member of the crew, Dinobot was infuriated at Megatron. Dinobot believed that they were stranded on the wrong planet from where they intended. Megatron reminded him that they were after Energon, and that the planet was rich with it, so who cared. Dinobot became more enraged and attacked Megatron, but Scorponok blasted him with a missile. He was thrown about a mile away from the impact.
Megatron leaves the others to begin repairs and survey local Energon crystal deposits. He made way for a volcano, a continent away.
