This story takes place in a fictional world called Terra. It follows a young and adventurous man named Darien, who, as the story progresses, learns of a life beyond any he has known before!

Info: Born into the Clan of Spirit, his birth was of great importance. Scribed by the ancients, it was said that a child would be born to save the world for an unspeakable evil, with the power to control all five elements. He spent his childhood as any normal child would; generally, getting into trouble. At the age of passing, when a child becomes a man, Darien was given an amulet. Told it was the only way to re-enter the city, he wore it always, never knowing it's true meaning...
Sarah Griphonhart:
Origin: Felgarad
Age: 18
Race: Human
Info: Princess Griphonheart, the Jewel of the kingdom of Felgarad, has lived a pure life. Never knowing true evil, she grew up blind to the world. On her sixteenth birthday, she was given the dragon Kah'shyru-ken, or Silverwing. She frequents the skies now, exploring the world she never knew. On one fateful, destiny-bound outing to the Zimbo forest, she finds Darien, who she brings back to the castle and ultimately saves his life. Little does she know, their meeting was planned before they were ever born.
Corbin Griphonhart:
Origin: Taeralaz, City of Earth
Age: 57
Race: Human
Info: King of the Port City Felgarad. Corbin's family line originated in the Sacred City
of Taeralaz. He is the fiftieth generation Griphonhart, and also the last serviving male. After finishing the city of Felgarad, a city his great-grandfather Aegis Griphonheart founded, he started the construction of a castle. He married at 24, to a woman named Salenia
Sengrae, A commoner from the town. Many frowned upon this, but all were glad that the King had found his soul mate. At 27, Salenia was pregnant with their first, and only, child. Sadly, Salenia died soon after giving birth to Sarah.
Grell:
Origin: Unknown
Age: 124 (Looks about 27)
Race: Grenokan
Info: Little is known of Grell. He was discovered by a sentry on duty wandering around the outside walls of
the city as a child, almost 50 years before Sarah was born. When they took him in and asked what he was doing there and who he was, he didn't know. Some think he's lost his memory. King Griphonhart (Corbin's grandfather) took him in and raised him as a son. When Sarah was born, he was appointed the job of personal body guard. A constant shadow to Sarah, he goes where she goes, keeping vigilant watch.

Origin: Unknown
Age: 215
Race: Elf
Info: Her home city was attacked when she was young. All she can remember from that night was her parents hiding her from the raiding party. Some days later, she was discovered wandering the plains by a group of soldiers. The soldiers took her to a village (soon to be the location of Felgarad) and brought her before the king. He took her in, and nursed her back to health. Following the family line for generations, she has been the Royal Healer since then...as well as a mother to Sarah.
Captain Sedrik:
Origin: Feldgarad
Age: 41
Race: Human
Info: Sedrik enlisted in the Royal Army at 18, and served as an infantryman for many years. After being the sole survivor of his platoon in a particularly bloody battle, the King granted Sedrik Knighthood. After 22 years in the Royal Knights, Sedrik was awarded Captain of all Felgarad Knights. He takes it as a personal duty to make sure Sarah stays out of trouble...an ever-present nusance in her eyes.
