Hi! :-) This is my Pets page. I got my scanning abilities back! Yay! :-) I scanned two pictures of my real pets, Myst and Ameiko. Now I just have to find the rest of my pictures :-( There are also images of my virtual/online pets and the "adopted friends" of my Guardians. :-) If you'd like to adopt any virtual pets like mine, go ahead and click the link with them to be taken to the page I got mine from. Isn't this a funny picture of Myst? :-) I took this a couple of years back at my parents' house in New Jersey. Myst Pronounciation: Like the word "mist." Age: Five Years old. Birthdate: Actually, since I found Myst, I don't know the exact date of his birth, but due to how old he looked when I found him (and because I originally thought the number tattoed into his ear was his birthday - silly me) I generally say his birthday is June 16th, 1997. Breed and Sex: Grey and White Domestic Shorthair(DSH) Tabby, Male. Explanation of Name: Myst was so named by a friend of mine, Dina, because one of our favorite games at the time was "Myst," and because of the grey coloring he has. Other Names: Mem'now (A name from the book: The Ghatti's Tale by Gayle Greeno - see "Odd" page.), and Mistoffalees (favorite character from The Cats musical. I don't think I spelled it right.) Other: In the late summer of 1998 I was starting out on a bike ride with my friend Dina, when we noticed something run between some nearby bushes. We went to look, and found a kitten that appeared to be about two months old. After a little while of trying, he finally let us pet him, and we noticed a number tatto in his ear. Figuring he belonged to one of the nearby houses we started knocking on doors. No one seemed to know who the owner was, but one woman said she had seen him around and another woman was constantly attacking him with her broom and had sworn if she saw him near her house again she'd call animal control or kill him. :-( Because of all that, and because he seemed to be abandoned, I decided to try to keep him. We took him back to Dina's house, but had to lock him in the bathroom because her mom is allergic. I called my parents, and of course, my father said no. (He doesn't overly love animals. Doesn't hate them - just doesn't want them in his house.) After a while of begging and pleading, they finally decided to try, but if he was trouble he was gone. I agreed. Since I got to keep him, Dina got to name him, and she named him Myst. That's the story of how I got Myst. :-) Now he's getting to be a "senior kitty" (since cats age 9 times faster, his age in cat years is 45. Vets consider any cat over 5 to be a senior, and they need special diet/checkups.) Geez, 45 years old and he still lives with his mom. ;-) 
Another funny picture of Ameiko :-) She's my little jester. She's always rolling around and stuff, so I took a picture of her doing it one time. :-) Ameiko Pronounciation: Ah-me-ko. Age: Almost a year. Birthdate: Since I adopted Ameiko from the Animal Shelter, no one knows her exact birthdate, but they guesstimated her age and figured she was born in November. When they said I could pick the day, I was almost tempted to give her my birthday, but I decided to give her Thanksgiving instead, so her birthday is November 26th, 2001. :-) Breed and Sex: Orange w/Stripes Domestic Shorthair(DSH) Tabby, Female. Explanation of Name: At the time I got Ameiko, I was reading of the Legend of the Five Rings books, and really liked this character named Ameiko. She was the wife of the Crane daimyo, but she was originally from the Fox Clan. I liked the character so much, and Ameiko looks like a little fox, so I named her Ameiko. :-) Other Names: Ameiko-sama (sama is a Japenese title, kind of like "Lady," which was Ameiko's title in the book), Meeko. Other: Until recently I worked at a county animal shelter (I left because I had to come to Texas for a little while.) I thought it was the perfect job because of my love of animals, and becaue it would stop me from wanting more animals because comming in everyday and taking care and playing with and getting to see so many animals made it feel like I kind of owned them in a way, and so didn't need/want any more. :-) (Hey, it was a good idea.) One day I was cleaning cat adoption, and noticed this beautiful orange cat with tiger stripes. I looked at the card on the cage and it said it was a male named "Howie." I instantly fell in love with that cat. As soon as Howie heard me he woke up and started rubbing against the cage door, wanting to be pet. I took him out and he hugged me - really! One paw on each side of my neck and rubbing his head under my chin. :-) That's when I noticed his tail is roughly only half as long as it should be (the shelter believes it was bit or cut off when Howie was a kitten.) From that day on I spent time everyday just holding and petting and playing with Howie. Of course, I didn't call him Howie. (I had never seen the cat food commercials that cat was appearantly in.) I called him Morris, because I was familiar with that cat and thought Howie looked a lot like Morris. One day, while holding Morris, he flipped over onto his back and I happened to notice something: Morris was female. I mentioned in to a woman I worked with and she shrugged and changed the name to "Halie." When people would come in to look at cats and stop for a minute at Morris (I couldn't think of another name to call her - Amber maybe? That's the color of her eyes.), it came to my realization that someone could adopt Morris and take her away. Quite honestly, the thought of it actually made me cry. I knew I couldn't let her go. I just had two huge things to overcome: My Aunt Noami and Bill. I was living in my Aunt's house at the time because she had an attic apartment. She didn't like Myst all that much, so I felt sure she'd say no to Morris (and with the shelter you need the homeowner's written permission :-( ) I also knew that Bill wouldn't want another cat, but I felt so lonely since Bill was at Basic Training. In the end, my aunt said yes, I happily adopted Ameiko, and eventually told Bill. ;-) He didn't mind all that much. Now that he's met her, he thinks she's okay. Just one thing - no more cats! :-) Hehe.

Meyoline3Meyoline3 is my recreation of Meyoline, my original account. I also recreated all of my pets, simply adding a 3 to the end of their name. Nyrie3 from my original account became my mom's pet, and PrincessFauna from one of my other accounts that were frozen took her spot. For the pets on this account I made drawings for their lookups. That image comes first, followed by how they really look and short desription. NOTE - Click any pet's name in their description to look them up on Neopets, or any account name to look that up too. First are two of my images that actually made it into the art gallery on neopets. Click them to go to that art gallery page. :-) 
This is the first image I got into the art gallery. It was for St. Patrick's day. :-)

Niong3 is my recreation of niong from my original account. She was blue, but I finally got enough Neopoints to paint her starry. She's a very silly little Shoyru. You can vist her webpage to see how silly. :-) Niong3's pet is Aerie the Airax. 
Meyoline3 was obviously named after my original peophin, Meyoline. The main difference is Meyoline3 is purple, not starry. I love Meyoline3 very much. Obviously, she's named after me too. ;-) Meyoline3 is very smart, and I hope one day to make her as smart as she was. Her petpet is Patti the Peo. 
PrincessFauna3 is actually the recreation of an ixi I had created on my neo368149 account just before I was frozen. The recreation of the pet she replaced, Nyrie33 and her recreated twin brother, PrinceFaun3, are both on my mom's account now, neo_mommy3. I love Fauna, and ixis in general very much, which is why I'm a member of the Ixian Lovers Guild. It's a private guild, but if you love Ixis and think you'd like to join, contact me and we'll talk about it. Fauna's pet is Dracky the Drackonack. 
Adornable3 is the reacreation of Adornable, the first pet I ever adopted. I was really lucky when I adopted him, because he was already painted and I thought it was really cute his name is Adornable and he is Christmas. ;-) Adornable3 is now my 'battledome pet.' Basically, he's the one whose stats I concentrate on. Except Intelligence, I raise that stat on all of my pets. Adornable3's pet is Whitey the Snowbunny. neo_mommy3Neo_mommy3 is actually my mom's account, but I help her out by taking care of her pets because she can't sign on too often. Nyrie33 is now her pet, but the others are mine. My mom was very nice and let me use her account to create more pets. Little did I know I was going to go pet crazy again and create several accounts solely to have more pets. ;-) 
Nyrie33 is my recreation of Nyrie3 from my original account. She's red for now, but as soon as I earn up enough np again, she'll be purple again. :-) 
Dambra216 was originally a shoyru, but I was really lucky and a friend from my guild held onto a Draik morphing potion until I could pay her for it. I morphed Dambra216 into a draik to make him even cooler because he was created in honor of Dambra, my lifelong friend and mentor. :-) For more about Dambra, you can check out my Friends page. Dambra216's pet is FlameOfInspiration the Baby Fireball.
PrinceFaun3 is the recreation of PrincessFauna's twin brother, PrinceFaun. I really love my set of Ixi twins. Faun was originally blue, but obviously painted brown to match Fauna. Faun's pet is Scarab the Scarabug. 
_Cody_Love_ is another pet created to honor someone, this time, my beloved dog Cody. Cody passed away a few years back, but I loved him very much, I still do. That's why I created _Cody_Love_. Eventually I want to paint him baby so he looks more like Cody. _Cody_Love_'s pet is Memorial the halloween pet rock. mfguildshopkeeperMFGuildshopkeeper was actually created to be, suprise, the shopkeeping account for a guild I was going to create, the Military Family Guild. If you've been to the rest of my page, you already know my husband Bill is in the Air Force. I thought it might be fun to have a guild on Neopets dedicated to helping anyone who was a member of a military family. I had actually begun working on it when I got back in contact with Katra, and decided to join her guild instead, the Ixian Lovers Guild. Now this account is solely for pets. 3 of the pets names will be familiar as their names are already used on this site. Clopin and Irrin from the HBoND page, and Selenia Angel from the Odds and Ends page. 
Clopin3 was basically created in honor of Clopin. You can read more about Clopin on my HBoND page. He was panted Halloween to match Irrin3. Isn't he cute?? I love ixis. :-) Just like the real Clopin and Irrin, these two are married. Well, as married as they can be on Neopets. ;-) His pet is Trickster the Bloop. 
Irrin3 was created in honor of Irrin. Again, you can learn more about Irrin on the HBoND page. I thought Halloween Peophins look really cute, so I decided to paint her. Irrin and Clopin are obviously together. :-) Irrin's pet is GypsyFyre the Froiler. 
_Selenia_Angel_ is another pet named in honor of someone: Selena. Christmas Zafara's really are cute angels aren't they? :-) I actually have a shield with one on it on my Meyoline3 account. Another reason I picked the title Ixian Angel in the guild. :-) Selenia's pet is Angel the Alkenore. 
Shoy_E_Sauce was actually adopted. When I saw his name and that he was a shoyru, I couldn't help myself. :-) I hope eventually to paint him shadow, then his name would make even more sense. :-) Shoy is Niong's best friend. Shoy's pet is Duck_Sauce the Stego. :-) Clopine3Yet another recreation/extra account for pets. My original Clopine account had several pets I miss dearly. Thoth3 the white kougra, PrincessNire the desert aisha, etc... Clopine is the female version of the French name Clopin. It was also my name in French class. :-) 
Smokey_15211 was adopted mostly because of her name. Just like I had Cody, Bill had a beloved dog too: Smoky. When I saw her name and that she was a gelert, I knew I had to adopt her. I recently was able to paint her shadow which is wonderful because now she actually looks like Smoky too. :-) Obviously, the differences between Smokey the gelert and Bill's Smoky is the E in the name, and the fact that his dog was male, not female. Smokey's pet is Smoky the Puppyblew. 
_Rouge_Puppy_ was created actually because I like gelerts and think the red ones are really cute. I was originally going to make him a female and name her Rose Marie, but then I noticed Smokey was female. ;-) So I decided to make it a him and name him Rouge Puppy ("red puppy" in French.) obviously Rouge and Smokey are an 'item.' ;-) Rouge's pet is Pupstuff the Warf. 
_Robin_Love_ was created because of how much I love Robins. I haven't seen hardly any at all since I left New Jersey. I'm glad Neopets made Christmas Pteris look like Robins. Just to be silly, Robin and Lightningball are 'going out.' ;-) Robin's pet is Catbird the Angelpuss. 
Lightningball42 was also adopted. I think I'm going to leave her as a yellow pteri because of her name. It's cute. :-) Lightningball and Robin are a couple. Awww.. ;-) Lightningball's pet is ThunderBall the Bilguss. CelticErinCelticErin is another account created for extra pets. I chose the name obviously because of my first name, and because how much I love everything Irish. :-) 
CelticErin was also named after me. Right now she's a green uni, but eventually I want to paint her baby. Baby unis are SO cute. :-) I love horses and unicorns and everything, so I thought an uni would be the best representation of the CelticErin name. CelticErin's pet is FluffyClouds the Cirrus. 
Chloverre was actually adopted. I loved that she was a green kacheek and her name sounds like 'Clover.' I figured she'd be a perfect addition to an Irish account. :-) She's really cute too. Chloverre's pet is Lucky the Slorg. 
Djali_Love was named after Djali the goat from HBoND. Obviously I didn't have enough room to put her on the same account with Clopin and Irrin, but I wanted to create her anyway. I would really love to be able to paint her Faerie, but that's going to take a while. :-( Djali's pet is Esmeralda the Doglefox. 
Celtic138 was adopted, and I'm glad I did. I couldn't help myself when I saw his name. :-) I think red kyriis are cute too. Maybe I'll eventually paint him starry, and maybe I won't. I'd be happy in either case. Celtic's pet is Emmey the Scado.

niong She was my very first neopet, and was sent to me by Jon. I'm very glad Jon got me started playing Neopets, because it really is fun. :-) Because I was sent a pet though, Neopets created the username neo368149 for me. I later created Meyoline and transferred my pets. niong was a Starry Shoyru. Originally she was just blue, but I bought a paintbrush and painted her. niong also had a pet of her own: Luna the Fat cat. Meyoline She was the second pet I ever got, and she was originally blue, but I painted her starry. (Yes, I really like the starry paintbrush. ;-) I like peophins a lot because they look like horses. With tails of course, because they live in the water and love to swim. :-) Meyoline had a pet too, Aerie the Airax. Nyrie3 She was my third neopet. Actually, Lyrim the Cybunny was, but when I was transferring my pets someone took him and never gave him back. :-( She was red, but I painted her purple because it's my favorite color, and hey, she looked good in it. :-) Obviously, Eyries kinda look like Griffons. That's one of the cool things about them. :-) Just like my other pets, Nyrie3 was a mega-genious. (Yes, that was their actual rating because they had read so many books. :-) I used to say my pets had telepathic powers. ;-) Nyrie had a pet Angelpuss named Ayrie. Adornable Last but not least, Adornable. Adornable was actually the first Neopet I ever adopted from the pound (I created the others) and he came painted. :-) I really lucked out. I thought he was awesome because he was a Christmas Kougra and his name was Adornable. :-) I'll never understand why his last owner gave him up, but I knew I never would! :-) Adornable's pet was a Christmas Doglefox named Foxy. Adopted Online PetsFirst off, MorningStar. :  She was born August 22nd, 2002. MorningStar has finally evolved into a Fantasy Zakura! :-) Doesn't she look great? She now also has a lot more stuff, like a food bowl, water bowl, a collar, a leash, a squeaky hamburger toy and a chew bone.
