A Glimpse into What Goes On Upstairs
What does one say about oneself so as not to appear to be "tooting one's own horn?" Um... hm... I guess I'll start at the beginning.
I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but moved to London Ontario Canada at the ripe old age of 2 weeks. I've lived in this town now most of my life, with my Mom and my step-Dad, except for three months in grade 12, where I lived in Mexico on a student exchange. There, I met a man who completely changed my worldview. If you wanna find out more about this, click here.
Then I tried university for a year, but so much was going on in my life that that didn't work out, so I got myself a job. I did lifeguarding for a while, and that was cool, but the money wasn't enough to live on.
So I got myself a job at a foundry, which sucked big time. They melted aluminum 20ft from me all day, and it was hotter then all hell. But I stuck with it for a while, and now I help people whose cars breakdown, though I don't have to go out in the cold or nothing... I get to sit at a nice, temperature controlled office and talk to people on the phone, and sometimes laugh at their misfortune. I couldn't really ask for much else... :P
I hang out a lot at the only worthwhile club in town, the Lair, hosted by my "big brother" DJ Cyphier. It's the only Industrial/Goth club in town I can fit in, and it's like a second home for me.
Of course, there's another reason I think of that place as a home. That's where I met Shona, aka Kælahndriel, late one night last year. The rest of that story gets a little bit personal, and well, to be honest, it ain't none of your business. Suffice it to say that "Boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl move in together and live in sin." You know, the basic story.
So who exactly am I? That, my friend, is a long story. By exploring what is on this site, you may piece together in part how I think, the way I act, etc... but I'm not about to describe it for you. Life is a series of experiences from which you learn a little bit more of the Truth, but you can never really know exactly WHO someone is, because you never really know 100% who you are. The best you can hope for is a general idea as to the way that person acts, and that you'll gain a little insight into yourself in that knowledge.
So, if you'd like to know some of what goes on in my brain, then continue exploring the stuff I've posted. If not, thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the experiences your life puts you through (or, at the very least, learn something from them).
