Worn at: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone premier.

Status: I'd love to fix this one up more.

My friend Audrey and I whipped these up in about two nights.  We got the Hogwarts insignia copied at Kinko's color copier.  They made us do it because of copyright reasons.  But it turned out really well.  I used a long black jacket I had previously.  For the tie I went to a thrift shop and bought a plain yellow one and put stripes on it with a permanent black marker.  Because I'm in Hufflepuff, my tie colors are black and yellow.  I also got a white shirt to go under the robe.

Yucky story for this costume: I picked up a cute gray vest at the thrift shop, and once I got it home that night I couldn't stop sneezing.  Apparently something BAD was in it.  I ended up throwing it away in the bathroom and wearing a blue long sleeve shirt I own, which looked fine.
